None were suspended for the Buckeyes’ Jan. 4 Sugar Bowl game against Arkansas.

Yes but what about the Bowl game? I was leaning Arkansas already, but that line would move from -3 to pickum at least if they miss the bowl game and THEY SHOULD!

Everybody knows there is an easy loop hole to get around this. Just have your dad ask for $180,000 and they can't hold you responsible.
All players will play in the bowl game. Suspensions are only the first 5 games next year.

Akron - no biggie
Toledo - who cares
Miami - ouch
Colorado - ??
Mich St. - We're screwed
wonder who's going to the NFL instead of a 5 game suspension?

Watch out for Braxton Miller coming in and starting as a true freshman at QB next year. That kid is going to be good. Quicker than Pryor, maybe not as much pure speed.
I have to think you are right milrod. Choosing between a 5 game suspension and no punishment really isn't much of a choice.

The NCAA said in its news release that its policy for players in bowl games or championship events "recognizes the unique opportunity these events provide at the end of a season, and they are evaluated differently from a withholding perspective." Lennon said the ruling in this case is consistent with that policy.

This game is up in the air now, i thought the buckeyes would have a hard enough time with arkansas, now they got all this B.S. to worry about and who knows where that will take their focus for the game.
I wish now that Tressel would have let Pryor go to the SEC where he belongs.
it's a sad day to be a buckeyes fan
