Before we get to the action....one more teaser that just needs to be put in:

20 pt, 7 teams, $1,000:

Louisville baskets (16 pts in hoops) -4.5
Fla state -13.5
Fla st ov 35.5
Tex tech ov 40.5
Iowa under 65.5
Marshall -4.5
Minny +17.5

Okay.....now we get on with the noon stuff (13 pt teasers, 1H, straights, team totals).

Two numbers that stick out to me like a sore thumb in regards to team totals:

UNDER 14 purdue
UNDER 27 TCU 

Both these teams seem to have packed it in offensively this season.
Purdue has been held to an astonishing 14 points or less in 6 of the 8 games they have played.   I see them being held to 10 to 13 pts, and hopefully worse case a push.   Iowa is not a vertical team and will be pounding the ball all day and pick their spots to pass.  They should have the ball for over 40 minutes this game and that will limit purdue's ability to get on the board.  It should take a def TD to blow the bet.

TCU ~ Yes, I know Iowa state is a doormat.  Yes I know they can't play defense.  Yes I know I have the iowa state over in my big teaser.  Something about this number doesn't add up.  Number one they are favored by 7 pts, that alone doesn't add up, I see them as a 3 or 4 pt fav tops.  I am going with the value here that it lands on 27 or more so on 24 and the inability to move the ball against horrible teams continues.

I am leaning heavily on iowa and the under today.....both in teasers.  The number is too close at the 15.5, I had to buy it down 2 pts and am playing the ML 1H since I can't stand -7.5 and losing by a pt, I rather lay the 3 to win 1.

Okay folks....here it is:

Iowa team total ov 15 1H
Iowa team total ov 30 gm
Iowa ML 1H
Iowa -13.5

2000 units on each.



I see the same final as the uconn game last night 31-10 and perhaps 34-13.
I see iowa up 17 or 20 pts to 3 or 7.

the overall total half and game are way to close to play straight up.


Ball control.....running the ball between the tackles, double tight end sets and a D that has been looking to not have to face the talent of Mich state, Wisc and Ohio state.


I have Iowa st in the teasers -2.5 and under 58.5 as big plays.

Get your popcorn ready.  

This has the making of a 47-13 smashing.  After all Marshall has scored 40+ in every home game this year.  Sprinkle in the revenge factor from last year and offense clicking on all cylinders and this has the recipe of one ugly day for an average uab team.  How bad is uab?  Their 103rd passing defense will do them no favors in today's contest.  They have given up 50+ three times including texas state and 34+ in 5 games.  I don't see this being close.

the -7.5 is the first half ML for Iowa.

I have a real gut feeling that Minny is going to smack Penn state in the mouth today and run the ball successfully in one of their better wins of the season.
