Some of these comments just blow my mind. Look at the strength of schedule and the number of quality wins they have. Teams like Michigan, Ohio State, Florida State and Washington just don't compare to teams like Alabama, Georgia or Texas. Strength of schedule has to strongly factor in to this.
Michigan and Ohio State beat up on Purdon't, Northworser, and Minnehaha every year. They don't play ranked opponents week in and week out like SEC schools do. Yet, you have snowflakes who think these teams deserve to be in because they are undefeated and beat the Little Sisters of the Poor. That Small 10 title game was a joke. Iowa, f*cking Iowa with an offense ranked 125 in efficiency is in the conference title game! Then Florida State has to play a sorry ass Louisville team that lost to a middle of the road SEC team last week.
With that logic, I suppose Liberty should be in huh. SMH...

The SEC was not good this year. 8 of the 14 Teams sucked a$$. South Carolina, Kentucky, Miss State, Vanderbilt, Florida, Arkansas, Auburn and Texas A&M were all abysmal this year. The mighty SEC is not all that it is cracked up to be. Somehow Tennessee is in the top 25 without beating a ranked opponent the entire season due to SEC bias.
Didn't Bama just beat a "middle of the road to awful" Auburn team last week on a hail mary??? Hmmm.

??? you basically just looked at the standings and picked every team that wasnt ranked. 7-5 is abysmal? Ill bet on a 7-5 sec team against a 9 and maybe even a 10 win team from another conference. do you understand how conferences work? all conferences look like that. do you realize that the teams play one another and that it's impossible for every team to go 10-2? but guess what, the sec has 6 teams ranked in the top 25. there is no other conference with more than 4 teams that are ranked and its been like that pretty much every week 5 or 6 ranked for years now.

Yes. 7-5 Texas A&M was abysmal considering they had the #1 recruiting class what 2-3 years in a row and were pre-season ranked in top #20? Considering that record got their head coach Jimbo Fisher fired and the school had to pay out his remaining $100 million to do so, I consider that abysmal for them no? The conference top to bottom was pretty damn bad this year, against other conferences they were bad too. There may be no other conference with more than 4 teams ranked, but the SEC is hyped up like no other conference when in reality the conference top to bottom is just like the other major conferences with 2-3 good teams and the rest pretty average or bad. The bad teams in the SEC are really bad too. Vanderbilt? South Carolina? Arkansas? These teams were simply atrocious. How many coach firings in the conference? I know at least Ark, Miss St. and Texas A&M? Will there be more?

it's a fitting ending to the decades of corruption we endured with the clowns in the bowl committee blazers collecting cash like the FIFA members to decide who went to New Years Bowls..they were scared to allow playoffs to lose control of their cash cows but felt 4 was enough even with 5 Power Conferences..oh and these kids can't play 15 games like the Basketball kids play 35, etc, etc...finally next year we're done with this and the best teams should emerge.
And as far as Milroe, there's one intangible this kid from Michigan had in 2000 had that didn't show up at the combine, HEART, besides the ones they do measure he was horrible in...He beat Tennessee in a Bowl Game down 21 in the 4th quarter.. maybe your heard of TB12? So go ahead and draft guys like Bo Nix instead and we'll re-convey in 4 years and I'll buy y'all wagers if I'm wrong...
