this was the biggest come back in bowl history yet its still not the worst loss in bowl history .. did you see the bowl game last year Pitt vs Houston? 2 onside kicks recovered late in the 4th quarter .. probably the worst loss i ever  seen in any sport if you was on pitt

Coach of Oregon is also a fool. If I had those two RBs that he has, I would have run the ball EVERY TIME. That is why Saban is paid millions and wins, and idiots like him lose every meaningful game.

NO QUESTION. SPOT ON POST. I was watching at a bar with a large group of people. At 31-10 I predicted that TCU had a shot at winning the game. It was easy to see that Oregon was losing nearly every snap in the second half. In fact, I think Oregon lost every snap of the 2nd half and OT's until they converted that 4th and 5 to force the 2nd or 3rd OT. TCU was dominating the line of scrimmage. As you said, anyone paying attention saw this from a mile away.

Schizer happens. Qb's get injured. I benefited from Hackenberg getting injured for Penn St. earlier in the day. I'm convinced my handicapping was wrong and I would have lost if not for that injury. So win some, lose some.

The point is it's not a "worst loss in history" when a qb gets hurt and the backup blows the game.  Happens all the time, at least more than 'once in history' lol

Not sure I get this.  I had Penn St +7 and thought I benefitted from Hackensuck getting injured.

it was ugly when you consider TCU needed major luck to score it's first 2 TD's...easily could have missed both and then this thread doesn't exist...but one factor was Oregon's coach-he said a year ago, they'd give it their best shot before Ohio St and I knew they'd get blown out...

He's 50 times worse than Kelly and I faded them this year starting with Utah..

As for tough loses-if you're doing this to make money, think long and hard-I don't mind losing each year...it's just gives me an interest outside of family, and work...I went on a beautiful hike today by the Hollywood sign with my wife, went to dinner with friends and had the Over!

You're not alone. This crap happens to everyone at some point. I had Oregon and the under. Jumped all over it when that idiot punched that cop. Sad thing is I felt it in my gut all along that it wasn't a good play, but couldn't resist. It was all setting up to be way too perfect and nothing is perfect. Just take time and regroup or give it up.
Ive already decided next year to stay away from these bowl games, I win all year and these bowl games always have some weird crap happen. Sure someone has to win, but they are becoming a little too much like wrestling and the nba. FAKE!!!
Good Luck rebounding

Tough Break, Quarterback getting hurt. Oregon wins if that does not happen no doubt.

huh?  What game/sport was that

The first game I referred to was Memphis vs SMU. The second was GB vs Arizona last week 18 minutes of both teams running ball into the line, both teams using full play clock. No worries anymore, I'm done for at least a year. GL

I still say nothing will ever beat CMU scoring 34 un answered points in the last 11 minutes against WKU. The last td of which came on a miracle hail mary play that included several laterals. To make matters worse instead of tying the game and allowing the small chance WKU could cover my -3 and -6 live bets in overtime, CMU went for 2 and didn't get it.

Worst moose ever. Sometimes I wonder if that game took a year or two off my life.

What made this Oregon meltdown even worse for me was that i had the good fortune to get ORE +1 before my book adjusted the line after Boykin's suspension. I took advantage and made a max wager. Instead of a large pile of cash I have a bad beat story to tell the grandkids. Thanks Oregon !

I had Oregon +1 and the over.
Saw the Oregon Qb take it to the head said he is out of the game concusion protocol.
I thought at least I Will cover the spread and kissed the total good bye.
Well we all know the result and I need to get my TV repaired for throwing my glasses at it.
As my wife said that is very good for a 48 year old..

Let me ask you all this.from now on maybe you should bet the team you like first half only.this way when something like this happens we can't complain.I had Oregon first qtr first half and game.plus under.so I only lost 40 bucks in vig.Give it a shot I switched to this angle bout 3 months ago and seen a increase in winnings.plus you don't have to sit thru the whole game and stress backdoor or useless tdown.then if you win you can let it ride on the other team in the 2 nd half if you feel your team is gonna blow it.it been working for me

Ok Ace it's because I'm sitting on the crapper that I am even giving your post any energy..
First please do us all a favor a history lesson so to speak. First please tell us in the last say 10 years of college football how many 2nd half 31 point comebacks have occurred? The. After that out of those comebacks how many covered the point spread.
I am willing to bet the sample size is less than 1%..
I am also willing to bet that you will have more losses % wise with what you posted than the sample size I asked you to run.
Get back with me when you are done.
Good luck and happy new year

Funny, had the same thought at the exact point in the game.  Then at 31-17 you knew TCU was completing the comeback.
