Bama has been money in game 1's for the last ten years.
Look for similar result with Missouri and Wyoming as last year.
Nebraska on the way to blowing out bad teams. Are they there yet? I don't know.
Michigan will beat down a team when they can. This year they can.
LSU notorious for playing down to their level of competition. Lost outright to Troy a couple years ago.
Good Luck this year!
I agree, but I hate betting on Bama, they are so unpredictable, because Saban never runs up scores, and second string comes in a lot. You are right about week 1 though, I do like it.
I agree they should crush them.
I am asking the same questions about Nebraska, I will get a better idea of the team after week 1.
I think this will be the year for Michigan, final four
LSU line does scare me, you are right, and I seriously doubt they open up the playbook week 1

I will say this about LSU though, I seriously doubt that the senior leadership on the team will allow them to play down, and week 1? They could look to make a statement, after the bowl game.

LSU has scored in the 50's only once in the last 4 years (not counting the 7 OT game), so you need a 45-16 kind of game.
100% in agreement on Alabama. Game 1 situation only, and Duke breaking in a new QB.

Florida vs Miami Florida -8.5Florida has a better head coach IMO, as well as motivation to keep their program going from the momentum of last season. That Florida defense is NASTY and they will have success against a new offense pretty much with Miami. Franks was a disappointment quite a bit, but I think he improves. Big Q's at the Florida offensive line, but the Miami defense does not scare me.
Don't get me wrong - I hate Miami. I hope FL wins by a zillion. But this is going to be one of those super-charged, high emotion games because of the new coach situation. Diaz is ranked LAST in the ACC and 88th in FBS in coach rankings, mostly because he has no prior HC experience.
When Miami goes in full-on gangsta mode, that is when they are the best - and that is clearly what Diaz wants to bring back to the program. (This directly from a team trainer that speaks to his brother here in Vegas) Richt was a horrible fit as his high moral code was more suited for a Duke or a Notre Dame. Miami has the best transfer pipeline program going and has even swiped some players from The Evil Satan recently.
A night game in Miami with all the wild animals (on the field and in the stands) going crazy is not something I want to give 7.5 points to. Again, I can see the Gators blowing them out....but there's much better places to put the $$$$ early in the season.

Totally agree with everything you say, you could be totally right... I was actually surprised at the line. I just think the Florida returning defense, they have some studs, and I think Franks will do well this season also, when he was good he was really impressive.
I could see this game going either way, we will see, thanks for the input
