Here are my picks (listed first, home team in CAPS) for the week. I will discontinue providing analysis until I get back up over 50%

Texas tech -11.5 HOUSTON 

duke -3 CALIFORNIA 

mississippi st +14 TEXAS A&M

penn state -25.5 UCLA

illinois -9.5 PURDUE

central Michigan-8.5 AKRON

wake forest +6.5 VIRGINIA TECH

MARYLAND +6 Washington 

texas -7 FLORIDA

I’m also looking at Mississippi State +14. They’re coming off a tough loss but Aggies are off two big wins and have Florida on deck. Seems like letdown and look ahead potential there

Texas Tech and Miss St are speaking to me. 

I like Wake too. I hit VTech ml vs NCST and I think they can easily turn around and lose here. They just play so much better as a dog. 

I dont like Texas. I am going to be on UF ml there. Just wanted to see if it would push up a little. 

I would be interested in hearing your take on the Maryland game. I posted in my thread about finding out what I'm missing because Washington looks like a slam dunk to me. I havent bet it yet bc the line was lower than I thought and I wanted to hear some opinions first.

 Obviously Washington is the toughest team Maryland will play so far, but they are home and they are getting 6 points.  I see a few things:

1. Terp Defense has been playing well..yielding only 10.8 points per game.

2. Maryland coming off a bye week, while Washington had a disappointing home loss vs. Ohio State where they really got their manhood taken away...very demoralizing.

3. I don't see a lot of offense coming out of Washington and the first two garbage FBS teams they played (Colorado State and Washington State)  both scored 21 points or more. So if Maryland scores 24 points, can Washington score 31????  Seems like a high bar.  

Illinois covers. 1-0 on the week.

Wake Forest wins outright. 2-0 on the week 

Central Michigan and big game james lose outright.  2-2 on the week. 

Maryland chokes but still covers 3-2 on the week 

Texas loses.  Sark needs a drink. 3-3 on the week. 

Texas Tech covers.  4-3 on the week. 

Miss st coughs up the ball and can’t score.  4-4 on the week.  It’s up to Duke to get me to a winning week.
