Iowa State returns 13 starters from last years team that started 7-0 but the injury bug cost them their next 2. Rocco Becht returns for his Jr year. He threw for 63% and 23TD to 8INT ratio. Kansas State returns only 10 starters. I am not an Avery Johnson fan... A lot of hype for a QB that threw for only 58% last year. Iowa State is 4-1 SU and 5-0 ATS vs Kansas State. Take the points...

I should have posted this earlier. I caught Rutgers at -10.  it is now 11.5 and I would still play them. Ohio lost everything.

KSU starting LT will be out, meanwhile, ISU is healthy thru camp thus far. (Townsend has been a bit banged up but should be a full go come Week 0).

I'm only seeing Cyclones +3, but I agree. Might play it myself.

DraftKings has it at +3.5...Hard Rock in Florida has it at +3.5...So, it's out there...

These really are not prolific passing offenses this season in my opinion. 

Iowa State is trying to improve a bad 2024 run defense.  It might take a while to gel.  I believe Last running game should face som issues that Iowa State didnt represent last season.  I also think Dylan Edward’s is a problem and will fast them.  If he gets loose , he will, he can score multiple times. 

Iowa State lost 2 Wideouts that went in the NFL draft.  Those 2 produced close to  2400 yards and 17 TDs in 2024.  Becht is good, I’m just in the dark on their pass catchers helping him to that elite level.
