Good thread I was very impressed with AUBURN's performance vs a crappy A&M  defense. That is a very very SOLID SEC Team

Definitely a squad to follow, don't know if they can hang with their state counterparts, but if Aggie game is a measuring stick, 2 tds at home would be VERY attractive

My prediction was 31-13.... I was given the only reason I could see them making the line at -13 when I gave the 28-13.. I'm not that damn dumb. Lol... I respect AU, but UA is a MONSTER this year that is getting better every week. Much like their 2010 team that lost 3 games, but I still feel was prolly the best all around team Saban fielded. That team had a problem with focus and TEAMWORK. If the Cam-back had never happened, then AU would have a great shot at Bama this year. But Saban will roll that film for 21 days leading up to the iron bowl. Plus Bama will be undefeated and have plenty of motivation to beat AU. Alabama is the best team in the country and MUCH better than A&M. If you watch the A&M / Bama game, A&M scored on hailmarys 3 times I think. John Fulton and Cyrus jones got abused that day. But Saban has found his corner in Sylve.. Also, I look at those 2 games and see Bama making tons of mistakes to let A&M back in the game. And Auburn fighting their azz off to win. Either way, the state if Alabama stone walled Jhonny : )

Thanks buddy
A&M's defense is awful.
They LOADED the box and knew exactly what auburn was going to do. I think (don't quote me on this) auburn's game winning drive was 10 runs and 2 passes. And auburn's o line had A&M's defense just begging for mercy. Credit that to a well conditioned team and a heck of a strength and conditioning coach. Auburn's o line is probably the brightest spot on the whole team.
If auburn can continue to play good ball and win the remaining games until Bama. That iron bowl is going to be HUGE.

Not many realize it, but Alabama is VASTLY improved from the team that was able to beat Va Tech by 25 in Atlanta and TAMU on the road by what should have been 14-21.

And I think TAMU is not as good as what the Tide saw, the defense has certainly regressed and play with a startling lack of fundamentals and effort. JFF is amazing, but I think injuries are slowing him down - evidenced by Kris Frost being able to tackle him on that possible horse collar - a healthy Manziel eludes Frost in open space with little problem.

If Alabama had played TAMU last week instead of Auburn, I think Bama wins something like 49-24.

No doubt that Bama is vastly improved. And is still improving. They are definitely are what they are ranked. Early in the season you couldn't really say that.
You ruined your entire comment by saying manziel's SHOULDER injury slowed his running down. At that point in the game it's no longer physical, its all mental. Adrenaline has taken over. After they pumped him full of whatever magical stuff made his arm feel better. Kris Frost was a qb spy and straight HAWKED HIS RASS DOWN. It was a heck of play by KF, Auburn's fastest linebacker.

To back the under lean, FAU is no slouch on defense. Ranked 31st nationally in total defense and 8th in passing defense. FAU field goal kicker has missed 5 of its last 8 field goals. Auburn's red zone defense is very good so FAU will be often forced to kick field goals. Also, FAU is coming off of a by week.

After analysis of match ups and scouting reports, Auburn has huge advantage on both the d line and o line. FAU is simply out manned. Auburn's very good back up Jeremy Johnson will like get some playing time and he will sling it around and have a good game. This is your typical let down spot for Auburn after a big win, but Auburn is well coached and I believe stays focused. I believe they cover by double digits. Auburn does what good teams are supposed to do to bad teams. I no longer lean under. Auburn has a chance to cover the total themselves.

No early lean. All I can say on this one is the Auburn's 4-2-5 base is no good for an offense with a full back. Leaves you short of linebackers to shoot the gaps. Auburn got away from there base D against LSU because of the mismatch with an offense with a full back. Auburn players looked confused and miss several assignments leaving LSU with easy yards and easy scores in the first half. 2nd half, Auburn went back to their base defense and had success with it. So, it will be interesting to see how Ellis Johnson game plans for this one. But Arkansas always plays Auburn tough. It's going to be hard for auburn to wake up for not a very good Arkansas team in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

I think Auburn will go to Arkansas and pull a can of whoop*** on the Razorbacks.Play Auburn 1st half, game, tease and parlay them bc it's  in bank. This Arkansas team is just horrible.Even with Jeremy Johnson is the starter.

I would say this year and last year were Saban's 2 best teams. This years just started a little slow but is playing at a very high level now. If both teams win out until the iron bowl, it will be an epic one. I think auburn can definitely compete in this one. Especially at home.
