Getting a case of the OOFS here .. recap time ..

Va Tech I felt like the big spot and we had Wake in a tough one .. Wake w 3 early false starts ..  Claiborne and Ashford played we were hoping they wouldn't but Hokies shut their run game down for the most part which is the identity of their offense and Ashford immobile with the knee brace .. then proceeded to just make endless mistakes and give it up on D thru the air pretty much every time Wake was in a tough spot they made a play .. can't say the same for Va Tech .. and noticed the OL situation caused them many of their problems still .. quite disappointing .. 

C.Mich .. offense did okay but major blunder to not get any points end of H1 w a grounding penalty from like the 1 yd line .. OOF .. but wouldn't have mattred much .. MJ Morris off his injury comes in Akron went from worst game of their careers to maybe the best they'll ever play .. C.Mich D got THRASHED thru the air and every other way .. Akron mighta had more offense in one game than their entire season .. sheesh .. 

OLD DOMINATOR .. coastal legit stinks and we saw the home revenge spot and as expected payback time ensued..

TCU .. man o man .. don't think that was quite as lucky of a draw as the bama backers .. really only one move for TCU on that 4th down was to take an end zone shot once they decided to not kick a FG .. but just like bama it was a revenge ending and yeah total luck .. one of a few BP's where the cookies crumbled our direction .. I'll def take it .. 

N.MEX  .. we knew they might have trouble against the deep ball and boy did they .. trouble with the pass game all the way .. on the flip side we actually had a pretty solid day on offense from them but couple turnovers in the late friday road spot killed it .. think they also had a big TD called back ... good team but clearly a ways away from getting conf road dog wins .. they did beat UCLA pretty bad tho lol .. how bout those bruins!!!

NM / SJSU OVER .. big total that got there eventually .. felt likeit coulda gone over much easier .. NM with 3 picks and 2 FG's from inside the 15 yd line .. woulda been over at halftime if NM's run offense was more productive .. too much forced relying on the pass game and offense is not shut down but also not very reliable clearly when they can't run the ball ..

Posted week 6 .. FD look ahead line .. holy smokes is this a great spot .. I can only wonder if its hampered by the extended time off ZOO has but you got Bama off B2B MAX EFFORT WINS absolute emotional height in both .. got Tenn Vols in a revenge game on deck .. not sure if having S.Car in the hole really even matters but its just so much action straddling this spot .. and right smack dab in the middle they get a trip to Columbia .. Zoo is off effectively B2B bye weeks .. 11am kickoff .. One of the best vs worst spots I had sized up pre-ssn on my CFB schedule and I don't recall even the Mizzoo fans pointing to this one as anything but an expected loss .. Spot says Mizzoo coulda pulled an upset .. and I'm not even sure if we know whether this would truly be an upset or not and that's before we even get to the 'spot from hell' element .. 

Bama very lucky to get the 2 turnovers deep in scoring position last week .. Vandy didn't help themselves by abandoning the run game it was so money early on Sedrick Alexander with the 65 yd run .. Pavia went for 36 early .. 101 yards of their 136 was on 2 plays and from there it was 17 rush 35 pass .. Diego had 10 of the runs .. really felt like Vandy got away from the identity that got them where they are now .. Bama's offense was pretty much all game even H1 only 1 real dud drive they couldn't get things going .. Vandy's D however great job in holding them to FG's .. Bama still lotta trouble getting pressure 1 sack 1 other TFL .. gave up 4 sacks and 2 other TFL's .. they also gave up the big runs which we saw them do vs FSU .. 

Mizzoo might be a really tough matchup here with their excellent hard core run offensive identity .. very solid QB and Trad Run game .. major weapons in pribula, hardy and RB2 is almost a dude in his own right .. Norfleet is one of the best TE's in CFB and we've seen more TE receiving production from him this year but also a really solid blocker .. this hits right at the core of Bama's weakness vs the run .. and I'd expect Pribula if he has time or makes time passing he's got more targets than just Coleman whose very good .. plenty of weapons .. would love to see them throw to Hardy in space .. would be great for Drink to unveil that element of the offense in a big game like this one .. I could also see Mizzoo win the pressure wars .. possibly still an underrated defense .. MIZZOO BOOMER

I got screwed like many on covers on Indiana's safety stunt and BDC last week...And Oregon's let up against NW and a BDC  a few weeks ago...And BYU's Sidake giving up a BDC with a minute left Friday night...I was on TCU and Alabama and I was due some good luck by the gambling Gods...We are over a 3rd of the way through the season...I am 11-20 STD ATS...Not good, but I am getting a better feel for tendencies...and motivation in the NIL/Tr Portal world...Good luck this week!

Was hoping to find a way to hit Wash last week, still sorta wondering what MD was really about with that being their first real big test .. Wash obvi in a tough spot gathered themselves late for the win ... MD schedule set up pretty well this season with a number of either good spots for them or nasty spots for their opponents and this is another one .. Nebraska in first (legit) road spot coming very very late in the season like this .. also a far travel and fairly unfamiliar opponent .. I liked the prospects of Mich State last week to hang tough and maybe beat the Huskers and down 7-zip early Sparty gives up a horrific punt block for a free TD .. the heavy wind mucked the game up a bit but eventually Sparty came back I think taking the lead late in the 3rd .. looked like they had no chance .. once again Nebraska's run defense stunk and outside of totally bombastic off the wall plays by MSU I think this one is much closer than expected .. granted MSU prob did need that wind interference .. but still we saw Huskers run D stink once again ..

MD's D has been pretty solid all around esp pass D .. they cut Wash run out from under them but still blew a 20 pt lead in H2 .. H1 gave up 100 yds on 5 drives .. 275 on 4 drives to lose 24-20 .. sheesh .. only imagine the H2 locker room was chilled out and just coasting after that .. Terps win total was 4.5 into the season and at this point after THAT screw up .. man they MUST be looking around at themselves and thinking they arent a fluke and can pull some legit shockers and lotta young guys easy to bond over a bad loss like that and just say let's go get it this week.. great spot with another fun home crowd and given the nasty spot late first roadie for Neb I don't see why they're laying nearly a full TD here ..

Good luck dude .. yeah there are just so many things that can happen randomly end of game to trip up a final score in or out of the number .. even the epidemic of teams going for 2 when down 2 TD's is another one like something you really have to look at coaches decisions and who does what .. who kicks FG's or goes on 4th or punts .. who goes for 2 when down 2 TD's, who offers up a free safety lol sheesh on n on n on ... 

I love Mizzo in this spot and Texas A&M as well. Florida should be due for a let down having to go on the road to play a hot Texas Aggie team.

Oooops .. forgot to log this one from the Pre-ssn thread.. Man o man for all that #1 rated defense talk Florida sure looked like the ones that knew what they were doing there huh?!.. and yet still this one coulda squirted over the pre-ssn total we got with the late comers at 45 or so getting a disappointment .. smaller kills it once again .. BP struggling .. hard to say exactly why but playing more of the gut feeling and playing for less playing loose seems to be where I'm best this yr .. welp .. cheers to those who jumped on early ..

Really wild and crazy situation for Florida ..  think its fair to say they GOT IT DONE on an ELITE defense .. possible UT's interior DL is a weak point and that set everything else up in their run game .. but also UF's OL had to step up big and did .. major kicker is Dallas Wilson the true FR dude showed up and looked unstoppable .. idk if the WR corps is now elite with 2 true FR leading the way but man o man DALLAS THE DUDE sure is ..  

think we can say that UT's offense, OL in particular, isin't very good and probably in no small way set up the success for the florida offense .. number of short drives / 3 n outs got lucky with a punt block but man o man Florida shut their run game down completely and 25 pressures put on Arch that UT OL has some major problems they should be running just fine w Arch and the good RB considering what they could do w an immobile QB last year .. \

My thoughts pre-ssn were that UF might be behind the 8 ball early this ssn .. I didn't think it would be this bad .. but behind for sure .. and if all the potential started coming together this could be on of the scariest teams nobody wants to play in the post season and have every big game experience under their belt needed to at least threaten the natty .. the team we saw on Saturday puts them back on that trajectory .. itk if they can turn around a big win, go on the road and do it again it is DO-OR-DIE for UF rest of the way in my view because frankly if they go on an ABSOLUTE TEAR and win out then IDK how they get left outta the playoffs with the W's they'll have and the consistency they'll need to show, and it'll be the committee's true test of whether its all about W/L's over a ssn vs whose the best at choosin time .. but yeah that would require beating TAMU and winning out .. man o man they better show up ..
