My local currently has the line at PIT -5.5 and total of 48 (I got PIT -7 and total of 48 through my offshore). The current line is -6 across the board and total of 48 across the board. It appears 63% are on PIT but the line moved down from -6.5 when it opened to now -6. Kinda interesting movement there. The total has moved up from 47 to 48 with 55% on the over.
One thing I have noticed about PIT games is that the line hasn't mattered, except for the ND game where they pushed on the line with a loss. If PIT wins they blow their opponent out (home or on the road) and if they lose ATS they lose outright.
UCON runs the ball well but PIT stops the run well. Actually in the two road games this year (ND and Cuse) PIT was better against the run on the road than the four home games. Both teams can pass and both are average to mediocore at pass defense. However, UCON does a fairly poor job at stopping the run.
Therefore, I am playing PIT -5.5 for 2 units tonight. If you think UCON can stay within the 5.5 points then I would also recommend you play the UCON ML at around +210 for good value. Like I said PIT either covers the spread with ease or loses straight up. BOL!

UConn is 4-0 SU and ATS at home and 0-4 SU and ATS on the road.
UConn is at home tonight.
True but other than W. Virgina they have played no one worth mentioning at home (Buffalo - perhaps the worst MAC team and that is saying something; Vanderbilt - perhaps the worst SEC team, but they are a SEC so I will give that to them; and then W. Virgina which was a very good win).
Personally I think that UCON has the better coach. They are at home. But like two years ago when PIT came into UCON and blasted them I think the same thing happens tonight. I think between PITs running game and play action pass to Baldwin it will be too much for UCON.
Now I could be wrong and as I mentioned I firmly believe that UCON either wins outright or PIT blasts UCON. I guess we will see. BOL on whatever you play tonight!

Well I was correct... PIT either wins big or loses outright. I damn near played UCON 2H thinking I could buy out but then decided to never break my rule of creating as polish middle. I should have gone with my gut, but what can you do.
Congrats to all UCON backers you were on the right side here and very nice call to you all!
