The SEC meets the ACC tonight and Steve Spurrier gets to go against a long rival of his personally from his days at Florida.
South Carolina is BATTLE TESTED. They have played Auburn 2x's, Florida, Alabama, Arkansas,Georgia, Southern Miss.
SC Offense: #60 rushing, #47 passing, #20 Passing Efficency, and #36 in scoring...........very impressive against some tough competition. In addition they are #36 in turnover margin.
SC Defense: This is a very good defense and very fast/athletic. Even though they were dominated by Auburn they have solid solid stats and performances.
#9 in rushing defense, however their pass defense is ranked #107 but their total defense is ranked #51.They get after the QB with the #10 team in sacks and #18 team in tackles for a loss.
Fl State Offense: #42 rushing, #62 pass, #55 total and #38 scoring. They are tied for #53 in turnover margin at 0.0 dead even.
Fl State Defense: #26 against the run, #67 against the pass, #40 total defense, and #25 scoring defense.............in addition they are the #2 team in the nation in sacks.
Overall and Pick: Experienced Spurrier against Fisher's first year and bowl team may play an impact in the game.
The Gamecocks come back to the Georgia time for consecutive games after being embarrassed by Auburn (and making me a ton of money).
I'm going with the team that has played against very fast teams and much stronger competition and the much more experineced coach in bowl games.

I dont think your wrong on the pick but to mention that Scar, is better than FSU because they played Florida, Georgia and Southern Miss is a not that impressive...

Your pretty selective on what I wrote as you left out (Auburn 2x, Alabama and Arkansas)

I have liked SC since I saw this as well. I think this come down to turnovers, as most close games do. The Noles' pass rush worries me for sure but will probably play a 1/2 unit on the Gamecocks...
