Harvard has probably 1 of the best defenses that Uconn will face this season. If Lamb can stay out of foul trouble & Boatright gets it going I think they should take care of business.....This should be a good no matter what happens
Western Mich. +6
Looking at their record, stats, etc. They lost to some very good teams, So to me you can throw the record and stats out the door. One thing you can't overlook is this 2 teams know each other very well.
GL guys......
Remember you bet with your money, I bet with mines....Lets get this.....

You will LOSE your money simple put, here are the facts:
Common opponent UCF, results are as folows:
Harvard - 59 UCF - 49
BTW, the score of the UCF/UCONN game was not that close. Harvard is a season laddened team that plays GREAT defense, UCONN is a one (LAMB) man team surrounded by role players. Though I like UCONN this is the type team that UCONN has historically struggled against.

You may be right on that. But UCF game Boatright did not play due to his suspension. He a positive factor for Uconn and i'm hoping he makes a difference.....GL to u

Not making a case for either side, just wanted to point out something for your common opponent. That's really out the door, because Uconn was up 17 in the second half, so to me that says that game could have gone either way, keep focus, maybe win by 10 or more or lose focus and lose outright. Secondly Harvard played UCF the day after they got the big upset of I believe Uconn was ranked nuumber 5 in the country at that time. I'm saying that, because it's clearly not a situation where Uconn lost to UCF and Harvard beat UCF, so Harvard muct be better than Uconn. I know on thing, you'll lose a lot of money thinking like that. vegas makes lines based on how the public views a team and what they remember most recently about them. BOL

Kingpin might be right about tonight's outcome (I think Harvard might cover with the higher 6.5 line), but the logic is 100% wrong.
First, "the game wasn't as close as the score". UConn was up 17 (50-33) with 16 minutes left against UCF. In the second half, Calhoun tried to make a point by feeding Drummond down low over and over and over. They changed their entire offense seemingly in that second half and then UCF crawled back in. Not to mention, the transitive property doesn't work in sports.
As for the "great" Harvard defense, they are KenPom AdjD ranked 39. Florida State, whom both teams already beat, is ranked sixth in AdjD. The problem for Harvard is this is going to be the best offense that they have faced (KenPom AdjO ranked #16) where as FSU is an anemic #144. Teams are also shooting 54% from the FT against Harvard which is unsustainable.
Then, the "UConn typically struggles with teams like these" is ... laughable? UConn hasn't lost to a mid-major since 2008 when the lost to Memphis (Derrick Rose), Gonzaga (Daye, Pargo, Bouldin) and San Diego (with everyone's favorite point shaver Brandon Johnson). There are no pros on this Harvard team so the fact is UConn doesn't actually struggle historically against teams like Harvard.
Then, add in the fact that Harvard is not a good 3 point shooting team and they get a lot of their FGs near the paint, UConn is the 2nd best team in terms of Blocks in the nation and this is a style matchup that Harvard probably can't win. I personally played the UConn ML, I like UConn to win between 3-7 points.

good luck hawaii....i like uconn as well in that game because this is a huge step up in class for harvard....but what scares me from taking uconn is the sharps taking line down from - 6 to - 5.5 ..now public pushing it back to - 6....first instinct is uconn wins by 10 minimum, but this line suggests otherwise....good luck on this game people!
