Still looking to get the December Monkey off my back! Today looks like a good card to do it with.
South Florida +8.5
The Bulls play hard at home. They didn't lose a game at home by 9 points all last season, and they have most of their players back from last year's team. This is Big East conference play, it doesn't get much tougher. South Florida will push Cuse to the wire.
Wisconsin -9
Here's an example of what looks like great value (in Nebraska) in a conference play game, but really isn't. Wiscy spanked Nebraska on Nebraska's home court by 24 last year, and the talent mismatch is ripe for a repeat.
Kansas -14
The Jayhawks are really rounding into form. They beat Ohio State on their floor and the last three solid teams (at least what I consider solid) that traveled to Kansas got beat by 28, 29, and 36 points. I put Temple in a similar class as these 3 teams, good but not great. Their top two scorers shoot 37.6% and 36.8% from the field. Their 3rd leading scorer is a 6'9" forward that shoots 55% from the field, but do you think Withey is going to let him shoot nearly that well? Me either. This will look a lot more like the Temple vs. Duke game than it will the Temple vs. Syracuse game. Yale +21
This is just wayyy too many points for Florida to lay on the road against a Yale team that's been scrappy lately. Will they blow them out by 15? Very likely. But this many points are just too good to pass up.
