Oakland plays Michigan state tonight, and for a couple reasons I'm going with Oaktown, this line just jumped out at me. I've watched both these teams and Michigan state just beat a Baylor team who has played absolutely nobody (except for Auburn opening night) by 20 pts... this is a standard let down spot.
And against an Oakland squad who has size in the middle and can drop the jumper with Townsend who absolutely lit up Xavier to get the SU win there also, Michigan State just doesn't have the size and will have to shoot the basketball extremely well into a win, and at 16?! If they handle themselves exceptionally well I think it will be a 8-10 point win by Sparty, but I also am sprinkling some on the ML here for Oakland, Sparty just doesn't have it and is missing pieces this year..
Oakland also has had 10 days of rest to prepare for this one matchup, while Sparty just blew their load against Baylor. Oakland's zone is going to force Michigan state to shoot the ball and I don't think they can do it.
