even thou this play lost, theres a good lesson to take from this play. Flutie basically capped the game right, found the better team that was hot playing against the team that wasnt playing for good. Where he made his mistake was, trying to time when georgia would cool off and when cincy would play good. One of the oldest rules of gambling, is dont try to get cute and go against streaks, none of us can figure that out. Your better off riding with the streak, but if you still feel uncomfortable doing that, then do this

"its always better to pass on a winner if your not 100 percent sure, then go and bet a loser"   Words i got from a old time bookie 40 plus years ago.

Even the big line move to cincy fooled bettors. I think that was a case of the books trying to get the line watchers off georgia and onto the loser cincy.

Dont be so hard on yourself.  You capped the game right and had the winner, you just let your brain trick you into playing the other side.

there were more than just that one today   but the bet was made before the line moved  , go back look through play by play and the box score  that's how you can tell if you had the right side but lost  , way I look at them is  if I had a team -4 and they won by 3 but the other team got 20 more ft's maybe then I was on the right side  , that does happen  or if my team lead the whole game till 1 minute left  maybe I had right side  we have all been through that, 4 minutes into the 2nd half they lost the lead and never got it back , Cinncy took 5 more shots in the game but made 7 fewer, foul shots  Georgia had 26 made 20  Cinn had 21 made 12  8 points diff ...Cinn made 7 3's Georgia just 4 , Cinn had 5 more offensive boards , 1 less turnover, Cinncy lost because on this day they did not shoot well enough to cover, 35% to 50%  they had more shots which is positive, fewer to's ...  being on a streak has nothing to do with it   always go read the play by play and look at box score you will see why you won or lost  unless its a buzzer beater and the game was -1    actually its always good to see how teams won or lost , usually a team that gets 5-10 more shots and a few more ft's will win unless they shoot bad  I had a game this week where the team I was on had 16 more shots, but only made 3 more than the other team and the other team was 28/34 at the ft line and my team was 10/12  and I did not cover by 2 points   I was on the right side

 Yea that game sucked. How do you lead in 1h then get it tied at half time and then get destroyed in 2H like you forgot to play basketball … that’s CBB for ya …

 one thing in college  and even pro baskets  you will see a team up 15 even more at half  then the other team out scores them BY 20 in 2nd half  and its even worse when you have smaller schools playing  , we all see a 15 point spurt happen in a matter of minutes  look at Michigan tonight  down 65-60 14 mins left  with 7 min left Michigan was up like 84-70  24-5 run
