Interesting scenario for the nets, if they get Kyrie but not another star, should they match any offer for DLO so then they will have one of the best backcourts?

Khris Middelton...5 Years..$178 Million....He is good player..but now where near all star level caliber type player...Yeah he made the All star team last year..only because he's in the East...A lot of these teams will regret these signing in a few years...

Great move by the Dubs...They lose KD and were capped out to sign anyone else significant so they they do a sign and trade with Brooklyn.. DRussel get 4 year $117Million, which is basically nothing compared to what other players are getting..Middelton & Tobias Harris.....Losing Iggy is not big deal....Steph and Russell should be able to carry them to a #3-4 seed...Klay comes back in Match....The west will be a beast this year...

The money is getting insane. When guys like Middleton are making 35m and bench players are making 18 (Rozier to Hornets), you have to wonder when the NBA bubble is going to pop.
As far as analysis, I would hesitate to call the Nets big winners. They are essentially paying Durant 50m a season and what happens if he comes back slow and old, and not a top 5 player? I suppose it was a gamble someone was going to take, but I will have to see it to believe it
Golden State is far from a lock to get a top 4 seed despite their pickup of DeAngelo. If Leonard ends up in LAC land, Golden State drops even further in the west. Portland, Utah, Denver, Houston, LAL, OKC, and the LAC with Leonard will all be better than the Warriors. The bigger question is are they a lock to make the playoffs? I agree with Slowbait on your #3 seed comment. Maybe you were joking?

You think that signing a ball dominate guard for a team that preaches ball movement is a good signing? Weren’t you waiting for Lakers to sign him and laugh at them? With Klay and KD they will be lucky to sniff playoffs.

Portland paid Rodney Hood 16 mil for two years. Just saying. I'm sorry, I know Deangelo do his best to feel Klay's void this year and I know management wanted some semblance of star power to open the Arena. And i'll admit bias because i've been wanting to see Hood on the Warriors since before KD came but 8 million a year. The Warriors couldn't top that?
