Oz... first off, CONGRATS on tonight and for such a great NBA year! And for consistently posting on a daily basis with analysis / responses! I started "tracking" you on 2-25 when you were 67-48. I remember reading one of your posts a while back that you were around 15/20 games under .500 at one time? Do you recall what was your lowest point at one time this year and when? 59% right now is just incredible! I just came back in December, after being away from the game for quite a few years! Lots of logging on my end these past few months as I'm learning newer / different cappers styles / records. You are a true class act and appreciated by so many on here! Continued success!

Softballmaniac, firstly thank you for the kind words. It has been a difficult season, just without looking at my own personal spreadsheet where I track everthing, around the middle of January I was 37-43 and really struggling but always said it’s a marathon and not a sprint. My overs total plays are based on both my own formula system I have created and also SDQL as well, that is fun to learn and I can spend hours writing queries and looking for certain situations.

It’s also great to chat with those who take this seriously because I certainly do and although I only play 1 game per day, sometimes 2 it’s the way I like to do things. Also use a very strict bankroll management system which I stick. For me, sticking with systems, discipline and money management are the key elements in this game. Thanks again

Thank you Cdwolves for the compliments.
Never second guess yourself though. Find a system that works for you and run with it. But you need to build up a good sample size before you run with something though, so back testing is definitely key. For me, www.nba.com is the best website for gathering date, and especially their advanced team stats section. Using their offense/defense efficiencies and pace stats, you can see how certain teams play throughout the season and see how teams change as well (example, the Grizzlies this season). There are so many other ways to create systems for all other sports as well, I mostly stick with basketball across the seasons with NBA/WNBA and also the Australian leagues but do what is best suited to you and go with it and remember, you need to take the emotion out of betting because you can't let negativity flood your mind because when that happens, it really does effect your capping and thought process.

Can I ask what is SDQL? also, what is your approach to narrowing down the 1-2 picks you'll play?
Thanks
