My brother and I went to small colleges about 35 miles apart. Both schools compete in all the major sports. Soon they will be going head-to-head in basketball (TV Broadcast via internet). But they are Division 3 schools and I don't think the books set lines on Div 3 games.
Anybody know an easy formula for creating a line/point spread? (My college has been top 20 in Div.3 last few years so I think I'm going to have to spot my bro some points.) Thanks for any suggestions.

The line is whatever you and bro agree it should be. Offer him a number and see if he takes it...
If it were later in the year, and they played roughly equal schedules, you can look at points for and against. But early in the year the better team could be 0-5 if they played 5 really good teams and the worse team 5-0 with 5 cupcakes.
