Rams are most likely going to win either way. Gurley didn't score so that his defense and special teams wouldn't have to go back on the field. Not scoring = victory formationScoring = PAT, kickoff, Rodgers with the ball and 45 seconds.
this is how simple it is, not that hard to understand

It didnt happen back then because noone thought about it lol I believe Brian Westbrook did this first and ever since then it has happened. Its easily the right call to win the game lol knee and its over. Your mad because of gambling. They still wouldve had to make the extra point and play defense if he scores. Anyone who doesnt see how that was the right move to secure a win doesnt understand sports.

So...you can't touch the QB, bump into WR or make contact with the crown of your helmet. If this trend Calapsing continues, NFL ratings should plummet 20+ percent.

As long as people can bet on football, ratings will be fine.

Gurley should've took a knee after the 1st down, he could've gotten stripped.
It was the correct call. Packers should've pushed him into the endzone, that was their only chance. Give a TD and try to block the PAT, one possession game.

Screwed me even more i have gurley, zuerlein and arod and graham .would have gotten at least 7 more pts in fantasy. i was double screwed when jimmy td was overturned. i did have gb +9 so i would have pushed. Im convinced gurley didnt know theyed be up by 9.

When you have a clear path to the end zone for a nine point lead you take it you do not leave points on the table . by stopping and getting tackled he risked fumbling with only two point lead he is an idiot and all you who say otherwise are fools

When you can lock up a game 100% you take it.
All these geniuses that chime in must have not been watching the game. He goes in they go up 8 points "at least".
NOBODY considered he did not go down immediately and briefly fought the tackle and he could have gotten the ball stripped away. Actually thought it might happen.
Next, the chances of a muffed snap are probably just as likely as going up by 8 and getting the extra point blocked and run back for 2 points and then getting the ball and scoring a TD with about 20 seconds left and no timeouts.
What would you be saying if Gurley got the ball stripped when he stopped short of the goal line?

Not running it in, rams win 100 percent of the time. Game is over.
There is no debate here.
Did you watch Gurley briefly fight the tackle trying run a few more seconds off the clock? What if he fumbled or got the ball stripped your Rams 100% of the time goes out the window. What he did was not what he was asked to do....his coach is too smart. If so, he would have immediately go down when he got the 1st down....not showboat to kill 2 more seconds.

Here is the thing... It was smart not to score, honestly. I think we can all agree on that. I had the over and lost.
But the sad thing is, a week or two from now, the same type of thing will come up and they will try to score (any team, not just the rams). or some coach will take a safety, or kick a FG that only matters to the spread.
I don't mind when I am on the right side, hate it when I am on the wrong side.
When there is this much money bet... funny things are going to happen because the fix is in.

You fukkin chalk players were looking for a back door cover and didn’t get it. Cry me a fukkin river. Gurley was interviewed after the game and said he could give a $hit less about fantasy players and sports bettors who bet on games. Take your fixing bull$hit and shove it straight up your a$$.

You have shown yourself to be beyond stupid. They took a knee after the play. Are you sincerely this stupid? It meant GAME OVER DUMBASS
