Dudes pulling the rip cord all over the joint. Not surprised. You cant play best of 5 in these conditions. I broke a sweat walking my trash can to the curb.

tbh, all the retirements so far is making the sport look mickey mouse...heat? humidity? are you kidding me? you are a professional athlete and knowingly entered an event where they play best 3 out of 5 sets...be prepared to play or don't enter...I would think the only way to fix this issue is to grant the winning player of a retirement all the remaining games left to fill out a proper scoreline….lets say if a guy retires at 64,64,2-0...then the final score will be 6-0 for that final set...it will make a huge difference to the betting of this sport...or someone pulls something at 4-3 in the first set...the final score would be 63 60 60, etc...maybe i'm just being a little over dramatic here, but something really has to be done here with regards to all these losers essentially quitting a match because they are past the point of return on any comeback effort.
also, just to add this...in all my years of watching and following this sport which is essentially my entire life (i'm 43), I can't recall this ever being an issue during the Aussie Open where they legit are playing in the hottest period of their calender year, where oncourt temps can sometimes reach 50 degrees celcius...this is really just another black stain on the sport of tennis when so many people are watching and betting on it, how can it truly ever be taken seriously when shiit like this keeps happening?
If a player gets hurt, I get it, but i'm not buying all these retirements so far here...even ferrer's decision to quit was only to save face, as if it was prearranged with Nadal at somepoint in the 2nd set, let's just make this look real ala WWE.
Very frustrated, that's all...rant over.

it all depends on the book you use. 5dimes anything after first set has action. bovada they can retire on match point and its cancelled. shouldnt be an issue if you wager with the right bookie for such big tennis tournaments and bets if youre that serious about it

Only ML. Side bets / games are cancelled because they treat them as “props” which is quite hilarious. I had Ebden +3 games heavy and it was cancelled even though the market was decided and there was no way Kraj could cover the 3 games. Cost me over $1k. Bovada will grade that as a win but not 5 dimes they as lame as anyone with their tennis rules.

I had my buddy bet Edgen. He bet it on Cris. Cris cancels all bets that don't finish. No mater how many sets are completed.
What kind of garbage is that? So these lower lever tennis players can have someone just bet a few hundred grand on them, and at the end if they're going to lose, they just quit??
Such a joke man.
