Trout is no secret to real baseball fans. Only the casual fans underrate him. That is thanks to the barrage of Eastern press that has to flood every available source with Yankee-Red Sox-Cubs-Dodgers crap because those are the markets they need for their own exposure. The Angels are not even #1 for exposure in their own market. As soon as early results are coming in the writers are flooding the lines with Yankees-Red Sox-Cubs coverage and won't bother with the West Coast because their possible market has gone to bed. For those in the West that stay up, they will get a ton of Dodgers-Giants coverage. Again, play to the market. Write for the market. The only thing I really like about this article is that it acknowledges Trout plays well over half his games in Anaheim, Seattle, and Oakland after dark; three graveyards for hitters. Given a majority of his games in New York, Boston, Toronto and Baltimore he would make Judge and Stanton disappear.
Worship at the altar you choose guys, but try to be objective when rating the greatness of some players.
Now and then even a BLIND squirrel can find an acorn

Question: If the Yankees offered both Stanton and Judge for Trout, would the Angels bite? I think not. Five #1 prospects might sway them, but nothing less.

trout loves LA.... Has a sense of motivation from the fact that hes in the dodger shadow..... I believe they will make it to the world series again in the next 2-3 years.... maybe a Dodgers vs Angels matchup?? Pretty sure the league has thought about knitting that script up
