My son pitched against them in college. One of their lowest scoring games all year; only scored 10, and he kept the ball down, made them golf it out of there, lol. They got to the College World Series and still clobbered the ball, but didn't have the pitching to stop the other teams from doing it too.
Now and then even a BLIND squirrel can find an acorn

Video games have ruined the minds of great cappers...don't let yourself become another victim...athletes are humans, not robots...just because certain players have incredible stats doesn't mean they are automatically going to continue at that pace...cmon bro, I thought you were better than starting a thread like this "amateur hour whinefest"
Video games? Wake up and smell the coffee. I probably pay less attention to video games than any person under 80. What I object to, and several other posts allude to it, are supposedly professional hitters taking the day off when their stud duck is on the hill. The term "professional" implies that you give you give your best every time out, regardless of who is taking the ball. Gibson, Ford, Koufax etc., got a lot of 1 and 2 run wins in low scoring games because the professional hitters of their day did not take the day off.
Spot on, Key, but the best professional hitter on Max’s team is Harper with his .220BA.

Murphy and Eaton are both good hitters...sadly both are still out..Rendon is decent....The kid Soto 19 yrs old..hitting .335...very gifted.Harper...gets nothing to hit....yet might walk 200 times this year with50 home runs...they will win for fun when they get healthy..
They miss Murphy badly. He's the straw that stirs the drink.

Granted Log, but hitting lefties was a forte for them and Holland is a weak one. With an above projected rating of 43.5, they scored a 17 versus Holland yesterday, his fourth best outing in a season when he is only 5-9 for quality starts. THAT is taking a day off.
