Not only did the booze beat me up yesterday, hoops didn't go much better. Looking for a turn around.
CREIGHTON - 1 230/250 both team look to get back on track. The wildcats are solid on D this year, but they had issues slowing down the jawhawks and I see the same here. They will be facing the high scoring creighton team that is 10th in the nation in scoring. The wildcats just don't have enough scoring power to be dogs of only 1 pt. Take the offense vs the deffense in this tilt. DD win for jaybirds.
PROV 3 230/250 It will be interesting to see how the Friars carry over the momentum from the Big East tourny. Tx AM played better outside of their conference. TX AM has the bigs, however I don't think that they can keep up with the Friars. Neither shoot the 3 very well, both excel at diffending it. I'll take the pts in what should be a back & forth affair.
MARSHALL 12 230/250 This is an interesting matchup for Wichita against a dangerous Marshall team that lost to Xavier in Cincinnati by only four points. They have some incredible athlete's on this team. 12 pts seems a bit high for tourny play. I would have laid off if getting 7-9 pts. DD pts and grab it!! Marshall will need to shoot 55% or better from the field to keep this close. They are one of the worst rebounding team in the nation, where as the shockers are one of the best. Should be a fun game to watch. You know that Marshall wants to play W Virg in the next round badly. Some in state battle action.
CUSE 5 230/250 Really just going with the battle tested team here. TCU has not been in the dance since 1998. The Zone, the height of the Orange. TCU misses PG Jaylen Fisher, haven't been the same team w/o him.
N MEX ST 4.5 230/250 I think this game is set up nicely for N Mex St. They are one of the best D's in the counry. They have won their last 6 going into the tourney. Clemson is a great defensive team as well. Should stay close throught out the game. Before Clemson lost Donte Grantham for the season to ACL they were 16-3 and avg 77 pts a game. Since, the tigers are 7-6 and avg just 68 pts.
