Leaving for Las Vegas in the morning. Nothing like Superbowl weekend in LV. This will be our 21st annual SB trip to LV.
I see a tight, low scoring game.
Eagles will use a lot of their running game to keep Brady off the field and run the clock. Eagles have a good OL, especially the right side.
They will use a lot of pass option plays so NE always has to think about the run. Belichick likes to take the best opponent pass catcher out of the game. Eagles don't have a "best". They have many good. Foles distributes the ball.
On defense the Eagles must pressure Brady. Everyone says the front four can do it alone. The secret this game, which NE will not expect, is an additional player blitzing. Eagles D weakness is the secondary. Especially Mills. This is why they will blitz.
I don't respect the NE defense. They didn't show me much against Jacksonville.
I saw somewhere that NE in the SB has never beaten anyone by more than 4 points, except lasy years overtime game. I'm hoping for an Eagles win, but I think the points will be good.

TJ do yourself a huge favor or actually allow me to do one for you Foles is not ready for this big game and the Eagles defense will play ok but Brady will expose plenty of thier miscues in the secondary! Patriots defense is not getting credit it deserves only giving up an average of 11 points when teams score from outside the red zone on them and less in the red zone (6 ) this will not be a close game Pats will hold Foles down and Brady who beat Atlanta twice by 6 and 20 Pts will expose Eagles who should have lost to Atlanta......New England 34 -Philadelphia 17

Also TJ I don't understand how you can't respect Patriots defense against Jacksonville Pats D held Jacksonville scoreless in the forth quarter even afte Jville got a fumble from the Pats at their own 40 that 4th quarter stop help Brady and the offense come back and win it even with Brady's injured thumb. Just some food for thought brother I sure hope you change your play to the Pats that will make for a much more enjoyable trip to Vegas.

So many have the public perception of the Jacksonville team as less than, when in fact they are one of the strongest teams in the NFL (just ask Pitts and the Pats).
The Jaguars are indeed a formidable team...damn, they have Bouye and Ramsey as their starting corners...both All Pros...#1 rush offense in yards per game and I could go on and on but I see this as the major flaw in the mindset of the Philly bettors...because the Pats didn't blow out Jacksonville, this proves they are old fish for the Eagles' table.
Man, you guys are setup to have a wakeup call come Sunday night...

Personally, I was all over the Eagles as soon as they beat MIN. However, I am reflecting a bit more. There are some points I am considering, as I DO subscribe to game-fixing or manipulation, etc.
1) The NFL has taken major PR hits this year and lost lots of viewers--so they say. They need a feel-good story to distract, divert and regroup.
2) The biggest figure ever in the NBA was...MJ. He has 6 titles to his credit. Brady has 5. There have already been segments on talk and sports shows comparing the two. Will Brady pass MJ, etc, etc.
3) We hear about behind the scenes strife in the Pats organization. Two backup QBs let go for peanuts. "It's all on Brady now".
4) Brady does what VERY few QBs have at his age. All but secures the MVP award at age 40. Could do what NO QB has done since 99, I think. Win both MVP and the SB.
5) Brady releases this vanity, self-promoting documentary series. Basically puts himself out there for some ridicule if they lose the SB.
6) Kraft is highly instrumental in getting Goodell his extension--so their "beef" was pure window-dressing to throw us off the scent.
I just think Belichick is out of NE after this season, and that this will be a gift from the NFL
I think they--as always--know something WE don't. I don't think Brady--who is notoriously reclusive and media-shy--puts himself out there unless he knows the Pats are winning on Sunday.

Lemme guess. Whatever side I choose, if I lose, you'll say games aren't fixed, right? That'll be proof for you, right? Especially if I choose the Pats and they lose.
Just trying to give guys another angle to consider here.......considering I am damn good at what I do.
