I have some confirmed sharp players move on Denver +2 a couple of times. Some high roller tail players also bumped the line back to 2 a couple times once sharps took it down to 1.5/1 to then come back on the original line. Public money now pushing the line up towards 2.5 now.. which is available at a couple square books. The sharper books are mainly hanging +2/-2 (-105/-115), and some others still not budging, at 1.5.
Even though I locked in the same line as a couple groups, I could still see this line moving up to 2.5 across all books before tip-off so if you are considering tailing it may work better to hold off closer to tip.
Current Ticket %:
Memphis Grizzlies = 75%
Denver Nuggets = 25%
Current Money %:
Memphis Grizzlies = 60%
Denver Nuggets = 40%
Important Information:
Grizzlies are only 8-12 on the road this season, and are also only 3-26 all-time at the Pepsi Center... Respectable syndicates on the Nuggets +2. Personally I would wait until closer tip to lock-in the +2.5 if it becomes available. If the line happens to drop to +1.5 again and you miss the train, I would lock in more value by taking them on the Money-Line.

Adding to this thread.. I will be updating power ratings for each sports for tomorrow's games which I used to use as an oddsmaker. Hopefully this is more information that can help everyone make smart choices and stop chasing the bad numbers that I saw so many weekend warriors doing! :)

Goodluck and a question for a exbookie. Is the nba rigged?
From my experience, I can honestly tell you that no, the NBA is not rigged. It is just a sport where guys play too often and not with much on the line each and every game, and with the random variations that can happen at all times, it's designed to darn people over with the lines we set.
What I can confirm is this.. The trap line theory is entirely correct. My team did this numerous times when setting lines.

So would the Cle/Clippers game tonight be a trap line?
Both are publicly backed teams, and the aim would have been to try and attract even action on both sides and allow sharps to dictate the 'true line'. Books knew there would be some faders jumping off the Cavs too after the mauling vs. the Warriors.
My numbers had the true line as Cleveland -6. Sharps been slowly taking small bites out of the line which originally opened at -5, and is now up to -6.5 / -7.
The public %'s are almost 50.50 split, but there is 2:1 in terms of actual $$ on the Cavs. Clear indication of wiseguy action with no come back as of yet with the Clippers.
Note: Trap lines are not as common as most think. It's in set situations where an oddsmaker will know the public will pound a team based on a huge over-reaction or it being a prime time game. Lots of factors.

It is absolutely rigged, you don't see the players out there bricking shots on purpose and slowing down the tempo to force games to go under? Anybody with eyes should be able to see that.
I have a good play for the Denver game though but these idiots on here don't appreciate good picks, so I am not posting anymore. You will probably get fed up and leave the site too, once you get bitched out so many times for simply posting winners...
I can tell you the solid play for this game is not for a side bet, but for the O/U total play. Any good capper would be able to figure the play out for themselves anyway so I don't need to post, especially if 90% of the people are going to complain about it.
Well, BOL to you with your Denver play....I will probably lay off it, as I see it as being 50/50.

As predicted, Denver have reached +2.5 and is a good time to take a bite if you are considering playing and look to add a little more if we see 3. (Which some square books are hanging).

They are a notoriously fickle crowd on this site, just do your thing. Hard to please everybody even if you are near 100%, they'd still find something to b*tch about or just overlook you. Their loss. But I have a total for this game as well

mgmprofits capping strategy is go to consensus look for who the number one capper is on for the team and tail that.
if you look its almost 50/50 and the number one capper for denver is on the under.
so if you wondering what his total pick is, its the under lol

nah mgmprofits is a clown and liar, he gets chewed out cuz he posts losers and then goes in the next thread and say he went 7-0 next day in various threads.
here is his picks of his losers since november in this thread all his picks quoted.
as you can see he posted losers and lies about it in this covers thread. his picks posted to keep him honest and to show people he lies when he says he posts winners. all losers except one since november for mgmprofits picks.
also as you can see he is a 48 percent capper on survivor so you better off guessing than taking his picks. his picks worse than random guessing which is 50 percent.

Thanks for the support guys. Have posted a sharp report for college basketball over in that forum so be sure to take a look. Will be getting things done with more time to spare in the future.

Its just basketball. Sharp/square line movement has nothing to do with the outcome
Problem is? You can't tell people that. As long as their easy theory works enough of the time? They can't and will not see how it will end up 50/50 long term. Gambler's fallacy.
Systems, theories, traps, .....I've seen go on profitable for years, only to end up even in the end.
There is no easy way to win in sports. You have to put in the work.
