have been very selective for last 4 weeks and its worked well, won both plays last week and feel good where my mind is
My Top 10
- Bama
- Oregon
- Florida
- Kansas St
- USC
- LSU
- Oklahoma
- Oregon St.
- Notre Dame
- Rutgers
I'm sure the Rutgers rank won't be popular but I don't like being like everyone else, I'll go outside the box and pick a team that simply gets the job done
thoughts from last week
the Gators keep getting it done, can I please have them - 3 at home again against South Carolina? I'll go ahead and sign up for that every week, the Cocks should have beat LSU but they lost and now they are reeling, they should be able to stop the bleeding against Dooley and the hapless Vols
KState smashed the Neers in Morgantown, what a well coached disciplined football team, they aren't flashy but they sure do play to their strengths, Bill S is approaching coach of the year in my book, he is doing another great job this year
Bama keeps rolling and that is expected, they haven't played a good team yet, I do think they are the best team in the country but I would like to see them against a decent squad for a change, the SEC sure does have some shitty teams this year (Vandy, Ole Miss, Kentucky,Mizzou, Tenny), those really put a scare into you don't they?
were people really lining up to fade the Oregon Ducks with a single digit spread? I'm guessing that will be a lesson learned, if you want to fade them giving 35 then by all means but at less than 10 you better have a top 5 caliber team or you will be paying for that mistake, their speed is silly but they still can't match up with Bama in my opinion, not enough mass on the lines to handle 4 qtrs of Bama
Oklahoma is looking better each week recently and should be ready to go this week when they host a Notre Dame that is somehow undefeated, if Rees is the QB for the Irish they will be roughed up in Norman but they can make a decent game of it with a QB that can scramble and make plays with his feet, need to find out the injury situation for this game and see the status of EG before I look at that game
many guys made a great call predicting Toledo to get the upset against Cinny, I thought they could cover but didn't quite like the line value at only +5, was late to that party so held off
Utah is awful and their coach always gets credit for being a good coach, I don't see it, that team sucks, Whittingham or whatever his name is needs to go if that school wants to compete in the Pac12
had some very entertaining games in the state of Texas this weekend, A&M was better than LSU, they just aren't quite ready to win that type of game, the Aggies could easily be undefeated at this point with wins over Florida and LSU and their offense will clearly matchup well in the SEC, when you spread the defenders out they aren't as effective, period
Texas Tech/TCU game was great and could have gone either way, the Baylor/Texas game was also very entertaining if you don't like defense (I prefer to see shootouts over slugfests), just my opinion
I'm really looking forward to the USC/Arizona game this week, that will be a fun one to watch
time for a few wagers, excuse my typos, I'm not gonna proofread my blabbering
