Arizona State is pretty much in an auto-fade situation here. The fact that they're playing Oregon State might make it a small play, but this is about the biggest letdown spot you can be in.

oregon St outgained them by a margin of 367-496 OR
43% to 57% of the total yardage, not THAT unusual
each team also had 2 turnovers, so OSU didnt just give the game away, they were in a dogfight with Sac St. it actually took a 15-0 oregon st 4th quarter to even get it to OT, they were being dismantled
So you think 2 turnovers deep in the opponents territory after successful drives for oregon state are equal to two turnovers just past mid-field? I'd have to say oregon state lost the turnover battle as the turnovers they committed were far more costly and cost them the game. You can see it you're way though. No point in debating about this game endlessly, you're taking ASU whatever good luck with your pick. I already posted my reasoning on why i like oregon state anything you post is not going to convince because you are just now researching this game for this argument where as I have been researching games for half the day now.

How do the back of your teeth look? Ever get tired of that view?
Telling kap i like oregon state 2 days before game time at 22 is irrelevant in this case. The line dropped to 18 by game time. I don't even know why I'm defending a pick i never told kap i made there is a big difference between saying I like orgeon state to someone and telling them thats who i'm on. In fact there is no proof anywhere on this forum that I made any of those bets that i agreed or disagreed with him on. it was for information purposes, you taking it as fact and starting some crusade with it about how i lied is retarded. Like in this thread for example I can say I like oregon state all week long, but if the line does something I don't like by game time it could easily be removed from my card am i a liar no, i simply changed my mind, it's pretty easy to do, i and many others do it all the time.

i havent locked in on ASU, might not even play it,
but i just was hoping for some concrete evidence or reasons behind playing Oregon St this week
What have you seen that would make you want to bet on them?
how do they typically play on the road?
how has their QB play been this year?
Just please inform us on what you know about OSU that makes them a play for you this week
Mannion has been getting better and is doing more with what he has now, seems to be they are more in synch now then they were the first two games. They played competitively against UCLA and a couple bad turnovers sealed the deal for them, its not like oregon state was completely pathetic on offense they moved the ball they scored a few times. the defense played well against UCLA but ultimately UCLA won the field position battle ASU is coming off one of their biggest wins in program history, before playing utah in utah one of their only real contenders in the south. They haven't exactly dominated anyone worth noting yet this year, and asking them to cover a DD spread against a pac 12 rival who they haven't had much success at in the desert is asking a bit too much from them. I can't even remember the last time they were a DD favorite against a pac team. 2007 ?? lol

No friggin clue, wouldn't surprise me though the cougars were the whooping boy of the pac for many years. Maybe the buffaloes take it away now, guess we'll see saturday.

yea i just saw it. what a stretch to end the season. Get dismantled by cal, route wazzou, fight tough against usc and stanford, beat diown ucla, squeak out a win over az.

As an avid Pac-12 follower, I think you are drastically overrating the performance in addition to the talent level drop off between Oregon State and Arizona State. I expect ASU to win this game by 21-24 at home for what its worth

I'd say it was a signifcant win for the program. Point taken that ASU is good this year, but I have not seen them dominate anyone, it's more something the other team does wrong for them to win the game. ASU does not dominate time of possession, they have not shown the ability to run it down the throat of anyone to close out a game, and more often then not late in games this has hurt them. If they had a more dominant offense I could see them working oregon state, but honestly this offense is not that dominant and if they cover this spread it will be on the defensive side seeing as how oregon state has been horrible in the turnover department. The dogs are starting to comeback after the favs cleaned house the first few weeks. Still tying to narrow down the card and oregon state might get cut

Made some fine change betting the UCLA money line last week because I knew Oregon state is simply awful, put that reccomendation in the official game comment section if anyone doubts me. Oregon State is horrible, horrible. They are going to get stomped.
