Another tough day yesterday... really struggling to put anything together right now but going to keep firing. May scale back on the number of plays a little bit though.

Jackimo, think I'm going to start laying off these bad teams like Houston and Baltimore. They've just been killing me lately, and the + money on these teams has not been enough to offset their losing ways.
Will be trying to find spots on good teams like the Tigers, who I feel are undervalued today while the Giants are overvalued

Scaling back and picking spots may be the way to go... though teams that I usually bet (O's, Astros, Royals, Cubs) look like they are going to win or will have chances to win, so if I made my normal plays today could have been a monster day.
Regardless, I may be using this new approach going forward as with my old approach I was either treading water or going backwards.

I agree that this could be a profitable way to gamble as well, however, as you state in 165's thread these aces have to come back down to earth. In addition, I refuse to believe that laying -200 on these guys for the length of the season will be profitable. So I will continue to take my chances on the big dogs that nobody else wants. That being said I can't believe that fucking Stros game. GL

I overreacted to a few bad days in a row and because of it I didn't make my usual plays. I would have been on the O's, Mets, Cubs, Royals, Marlins, and Astros in addition to the Tigers and Blue Jays.
The result? Only a 2.85 unit day instead of around an 8.5 unit day. This would have been my biggest day of the year but instead I made a huge tactical error by doing what I consistently preach not to do: overreact.
I'm really kicking myself tonight... I at least hope you had a good day today with all these large dogs cashing.

I did have a good day, however, I took the Mets RL instead of ML, and that burned. Couldn't pass up that +230 ha. Don't be mad at yourself for reeling it in a little for one day, at least you have the self discipline to be able to do so. That's more than a lot of guys on this site can say, me included. That being said, I think your original strategy of playing the grotesque dogs is a long term winning strategy. Looking forward to seeing your plays today, GL.
