Well fellas, it's been a great year... I'm glad to have spent it with familiar faces and to have met new ones. I hope to see most of you during baseball season and again on the CBB boards ext season.
A lot of trends to look at regarding this game that favors both teams. In my heart of hearts, I truly believe that the Tarheels come out on top in the end. Their combination of speed and skill will eek them out a victory... but I don't believe they cover this game. Their dominance thru this tourney thus far has been well documented. They have crushed the opposition on the way to the finals, winning every game by double digits. But this Spartan team is playing for more than a trophy in my opinion. I don't mean to stray outside of the sport, but Detroit is the step mother for these Spartans... it's their home away from home... and what Mo-town needs right now is some inspiration. Spartan fans will be in full force tomorrow. HCA is not overrated... not in this game. I personally believe that Izzo's squad understands how much this game means not only to their school, but to the city of Detroit and the state of Michigan. Suton did not play earlier this year when UNC pasted Mich State in East Lansing. The Spartans uncharacteristically had 21 turnovers that game, shot less than 35% from the floor and was a bleak 62% from the charity stripe. That being said...
Michigan State is 7-1 ATS in its last seven postseason games when playing with revenge. The Spartans are 23-8 ATS when their opponent is off a SU and ATS win and 16-4 ATS when the opponent is off a double-digit win.
If I go down, I go down in flames... BOL everyone... it's been a pleasure.
FINAL CARD
Michigan State plus the points (waiting to see if the line hits 8, will buy up to 9; this will be an 6 unit play)

In agreement that UNC edges out a close win, but it will likely be Sparty plus the points for me. Sometimes things just align for a team and this might be one of those situations

bol to us both!
I actually did write that Suton didn't play the first game and acknowledged the big crowd tonight... but you're right about the number of games played by MSU leading up to that first matchup.

First game was also played at Ford Field this year, official attendance was a little over 25,000
