Sorry i dont see it here's what you're missing: when seattle kicked the sh t out of the 9ers it was in seattle a week after the 9ers traveled across the country to foxborough to kick the sh t out of the patriots. when atl kicked the sh t out of seattle it was in atl a week after traveling across the country to washington to kick the sh t out of the redskins. you're not bearing in mind the fatigue that sets in when preparing to play a tough team, traveling to play that tough team, playing that tough team, traveling, then preparing for another tough team that you have to travel to and go battle against the next week. that being said i like sf this week. they got to play at home last saturday after getting a week's rest and they didn't look rusty(like they did coming off the bye week) at all. i think atl will have a problem with gore and kaepernick in the backfield and if they put a spy on kaep i think it will open up the middle for davis to shine. i know atl started playing "soft" d the 2nd half of that game but it looked like wilson's scrambling would've proven effective even if the d wasnt so relaxed. i think the game will be tight the first half but i think sf's offense will open up late against a tired atl backfield late in the game. bol everyone |

if you haven't been to a niner you don't know a damn thing. the battle of the bay was cancelled after last year's game in san francisco and it wasn't from food poisoning due to bad fish.

Not only is it hard, the defense was especially weak without Justin Smith..... Aldon Smith needs Justin Smith to set him up..... that component was missing in the Seattle matchup and in my opinion was a huge factor of Seattle's running game.... plus Wilson was escaping at will vs the depleted D-line.... 3rd- Rookie QB on the road in the hardest atmosphere..... I would throw that game out when capping this match-up.... I'm more concerned this game wil turn into a New Orleans/SF playoff shootout that happened last playoffs... If that were to happen I'd have to give the edge to the Packers.... Candlestick park is known to have horrible grass that may factor into slowing down the quick GB offense.... I'm not betting against Harbaugh off a bye week at home with that defense well-rested.... Then again I have trouble laying 3 vs. Rodgers.... Hope my insight helps.
GL TO ALL!
my thoughts exactly. 9ers flew up to washington after flying across the country to ne the week before. the stadium noise was also huge. 9ers burnt through their timeouts in no time and couldnt get alot of plays off in time. off of a bye week and at home, i think what i look forward to seeing most is how the secondary holds up and if they can create some problems for a rodgers who i think is going to be rushed by a revitalized pass rush for sf.

Theyre going into a hostile environment and facing one of the toughest most aggressive defenses in the league with an offense thats also just as capable as theirs at putting up points

BTW, dont forget pagano brought with him D end cory redding and strong safety zbikowski. im sure these guys will be adding to the coaches input with their teamates as well. now you take all this colts defensive preparation and you match it up to an offense that has a weak O line and an offensive coach that is a JOKE in jim caldwell? not to mention an offense with 0 identity? where will the adjustments be in this game when the colts front 7 beat the ravens O line in the trenches and rice gets limited? yes, the colts are on paper pretty damn weak vs the run, but to me its all about the matchup and all about the gameplan on any given sunday. 2)the ravens have to many injuries and 1 week of rest wont make a difference. suggs has a freaking torn biceps and cant stay on the field. ngata already declared that he will require offseason surgery and even though he will play, he said that he admits he is nowhere close to 100%. pollard has been gone for a month and how effective he will be is unkown. and if ray limps onto the field he will be limited and irrelevant. remember, ray was injured for multiple weeks last season with a foot injury and returned just in time for the playoffs. it was a scare at the time because some though that ray was going to be done for the season. the ravens has a world of momentum going into the 2011 playoffs and what happened? they had their opportunity for that last superbowl run and had their window, but that window has been closed since the beginning of this season with injuries and very inconsistent raven play. besides, i just think players like suggs, ray, reed knew last year was THAT and they werent going to get it again. lastly, i understand the colts have their deficiencies on offense with a soft O line and soft run game. but my prediction is that the colts will successfully be 1 dimensional on offense and pass all over this banged up defense with the inside information coming from pagano and arians. COLTS +7 TO The BANK might buy that 1/2 point or wait until it goes to 7 good write up im with you my only concern is the noise level in baltimore knowing this could potentially be ray lewis' last game

I took under all games except cin, which i stayed away from.
i really like gb/min u46 wk 17 gb/min racked up 71 total points but that was in a dome. when they met up wk 13 only 37 total points scored at lambeu. it's supposed to be colder this saturday than it was december2 so i think that should be a factor as well. plus, charles woodson is back.
