Time to make some money back!
Brooklyn +4 - Rockets shot lights out to win, I doubt that will happen again ad Brooklyn had a bad shooting game. Deron should have a big game. GSW +2.5 - GSW had a terrible shooting night against a great D but they are still a great team. I expect them to come back out and have a big game. They match up well on the Bucks. Jazz -2 - Jazz at home is hard to beat and they will want to make up for last night. They have the height to take on Indiana's defense. Hibbert will be in foul trouble. |

Got creamed yesterday!
1-4 Boston was just amazing that they lost. I didn;t know Dwight was playing for LA, don't know how that slipped past. That was a bad bet. Huoston just couldnt miss, can't help that. GSW were out-classed, that was a bad bet. Record: 25-17-2 |

Lots of value today:
Washington -6 - A struggling and injured Minnesota verse at a rising Wizards home. Wizards will be hungry to get their first big victory. Minnesota lacks both size and an inability to guard Wall. Boston +5 - Last time they played in Atlanta boston won by 8 because of 14 more shots on goal. Atalnat is minus Lou Williams and Devin Harris this time. Boston is good at stopping bigs, which is most of Atlantas offense at the moment. New Orleans -2.5 - Good defense against the Rockets in the past plus Eric Gordon and at home. This should be good. Jazz +5 - The height of the Jazz offense will really attack LA now. They are rolling and the fact that they have 2 PF/C on at a time that are offensive threats means that the Lakers' bigs will either be in foul trouble or let them score at will. GSW +2.5 - Deng-less Bulls against a proper challenge in the Warriors. Golden state will get their 100 - as most of their offense is from outside. |

At a loss with the celtics. Can't believe they shot that badly on the court they practice on. Rondo was killing it as expected, but they just couldn't knock down shots. Terry/Garnett had a combined 10 points. But it was the celtics bench that got smashed. 1-1 today Overall: 24-13-2 |

Ahh not to worry, I usually tip just before tip off so I know about injuries.
I'll try go earlier. Only 3 games today but there is good value. Toronto +4 - Both teams allow around 105 points recently, but the raptors have the edge offensively. They are on a back-to-back and are away but they will get less turnovers and more offensive boards. If the shooting % is equal then toronto wins. It all comes down to that. Boston +1 - They won the last game and rondo wasn't in the team. I don't know how the Knicks expect to cover Rondo with Kidd. And after the altercation between Garnett and Melo the TD garden will be going nuts. |

OKC lost. Westbrook was the key to that game and he played the worst I've seen for a while. Curry had another huge game.
Still very happy with 3-1 today!! Total record over past 18 days: 23-12-2 hitting just above 65%!! |

I have backed wizards recently everytime but I have also backed Utah at home everytime too. The Utah streak at home is longer so I didn't take the bet here. Good luck guys.

Denver +2.5 - Denver are more consistent than the rockets. Faried will cause many problems on the offensive boards with the scattered fast-style these two teams play. That may be the difference.
Brooklyn -6 - Brooklyn is rolling at the moment. Deron will have no one to guard him and neither will Lopez and Blatche. Minnesota have half their team missing. New Orleans +8.5 - No Duncan or Leonard for Spurs. The Hornets defend well against opposing PG's so Parker will have a minimised influence. Wouldn't be surprised if Hornets win this. OKC -2.5 - Westbrook's defense is vital here. Curry and Jack are they to GSW. Scoring shouldn't be a problem for OKC. |

1-0
Bucks came through for both of us! Yeah the -7 would've just got you the draw, better than a loss though. Was lucky to be honest. Philly really got the offensive boards, last time they got creamed. I expect them to take confidence from that and keep it going into the next game. They still shoot terribly on the road and on back-to-backs. Record: 20-11-2 |

Only one today looks ok.
Bucks -6.5 - philly are terrible back-to-back and opposing scoring pg's have their way (jennings). I expect bucks to out rebound on the offensive glass by 5. This should cover the 6 points. |

Record today:
1-2-1 Lakers was a fail. They are an ordinary team indeed. Annoyed at myself for that. Pau played well again but I expected Kobe and Dwight to step up, which they did not. Spurs was a surprise, I really thought they would've dominated. It looked that way early. I guess without Manu they miss that 2nd half punch. Thought Timberwolves was a lock at 3 quarter time. But you can never plan for the D-league player to come in and have 14 points and 3 assists in the last quarter. Still better than a loss though. Better tipping for tomorrow! Record: 19-11-2 |

Record today so far:
1-0-1 Adding: Lakers +1.5 - I haven't backed the Lakers once but I think this is the right time. Pau had a big game for his confidence. Kobe has shot 18-57 last 2 games and it's unlikely he'll be that bad again. Dwight was ejected the last game and will need to prove something to the team. If Deng does play then he will need to be a bit cautious with the hamstring injury and reinjury. |

Spurs -6.5 - Jrue allows opposition PG to score heavily, Tony Parker will dominate. Duncan is rested as well and will have too much class for philly bigs. Matt Bonner may have got his shooting form back. This will likely be a double-digit win.
Wolves +8 - Atlanta have 1 point guard and are bringing in a D-leaguer. Wolves were in similar positions but they still have rubio and barea at point. I don't see the hawks team beating anyone by double-digits att his point. Brooklyn +4.5 - New York without Felton and suffering some jet lag from london may be caught out by brooklyn here. Deron has a distinct advantage here and should look to break the game open. |

Cheers everyone! I write up my thoughts so you can decide if you agree or not and therefore choose to follow or not.
I tend to only bet on one in every three games because there are a lot of match-ups that aren't obvious (either teams are too similar or too erratic in play). Today's pick: Dallas -3.5 - I said only -2.5 or less but I still think it's worth it. Dallas will score 100 and this game will be about whether Orlando can keep up offensively. |

Missing players can be tricky. It depends who it is and how important they are. Rudy happy and Luol Deng are extremely important for their teams offenses. Sometimes it's not obvious and I prefer to stay away from those games.
My system is just watching NBA, it's the only sport I follow. Tomorrow's pick: Dallas at Orlando if the line is -2.5 or less for Dallas - Dallas has an offense that wont be slowed by Orlando and Orlando will have to therefore keep up themselves. They can with hot shooting only so I'm betting against that. |
