The game is just 100 miles down I-20 from ULM so that favors them for sure. Ohio really sputtered to the finish line losing 4 of 5. I'm no pro, but I lean ULM and the under due to the aforementioned weather which looks like 70% chance of showers currently.

He's definitely not being paid for his picks, I read his writeups every day and am very grateful for the time and effort he puts in to his analysis.

Packers running game looks alot better the last 2 weeks. Don Barclay rookie RT has stepped in and looked pretty good. They are getting players back and have ran the ball for almost 300 yards the last 2 weeks well over 4 yards per carry average. closer to 5.
And to say the Ravens are in more of a free fall than the Bears is just, with all due respect, not right. How can you say that when the Bears have lost 4 out of 5 and the Ravens have lost just 2 in a row? Everyone has an opinion and I realize that...but come on with that one. |

You can only play who is on your schedule. I agree NIU on paper is over matched, but FSU barely beat a Georgia Tech team last week that I do believe NIU could beat. So who knows. Purdue losing, as well as all big 10 bowl teams.....now there's something that seems a sure bet. :)

Jake I hope you're right. I'm a NIU season ticket holder. I've seen them play many times and I also feel like this team is a different breed - they have been dominant. I hope they get a chance to show it against some higher competition. I just keep thinking what could have been had they not blown the Iowa game to start the season. First things first they gotta take care of business vs Kent State, who are on quite a roll but a team that personally I think is getting way too much credit right now for whatever reason.
NIU 38, Kent State 27 |

They are currently 21 and would leap frog an idle Michigan and Boise State with a win(due to a Boise State defeat of Nevada being less important than NIU Beating #17 Kent State). If all this happens they could land at 16 and be in the Orange Bowl. https://espn.go.com/blog/chicago/colleges/post/_/id/7897/niu-kent-state-hoping-for-bcs-bid |

Happens to the best of us! I did the same thing but my last minute adds were Miami Ohio plus points AND the over. Double ouch!

Can someone explain BYU, Miss State , Army, and Tennesee if there's no sports fixing
in College Football
What I don't get is why the hell wouldn't Idaho just have tried to get a garbage TD rather than FG. I am not crying fix but it was most peculiar.

The over should hit too. Neither team has great defense. NIU does get a fair amount of turnovers to make their defense look better against teams like UMASS and Buffalo - but against Toledo they will need to outscore em and they will.
I'm not as confident about the over but I think it's a solid wager. If I bet on it, it'll be 1 unit. My amateur (and I do mean amateur, I wager for fun!) opinion is that NIU -10.5 is the play of this game. |

I'm a NIU season ticket holder and pay more attention to the MAC than any conference. I'm not perfect but I can tell you my w/l in MAC wagers is about 75%. And I can tell you that I see NIU covering this. Their offense is explosive to say the least and they seem to be getting better and better with every game, and Toledo is not the team they were last year. They have been overrated all year and proved it with a home loss last week to a good but not great Ball State team. Toledo and Ohio have been the darlings of the MAC the last few years even though NIU has been in the last couple of MAC championship games. Both are overrated. Bowling Green, Kent State, and NIU are the best teams. Doesn't mean they will always cover - but just offering my opinion. I will be on NIU -10.5, 3 units(my usual scale is anywhere from 1u to 5u).

UCONN average win margin is skewed and not even right. They've won 2 games at home against 2 of the worst teams in the MAC, Umass and Buffalo. Total 44 margin so that's actually 22 points per home win. But they've also lost at home to NC State and Temple. Pitt is coming off almost upsetting Notre Dame. They are a sketchy team that plays when they want to, but I like them in this spot and it's a win for them if they come to play.
Pitt -3.5 albeit a small play, 1U. Good luck whichever side you are on. |
