Fresno State -2.5 vs. Nevada
I'm not sold on Nevada at all. Fresno has at least shown that it can hang with the big dogs recently (3 point loss to SDSU, win over Martinez-less Wyoming). Nevada, on the other hand, has struggled and has yet to meet any expectations this year. On a neutral court, I would pick Fresno any day. Given that this game is in Fresno, I think the -2.5 is more than fair. UNLV +4 at Colorado State UNLV ML (0.5 unit) UNLV is coming off a big road win against SDSU and one of their best offensive performances this year. This team is insanely talented, and looked like they finally started to gel on Wednesday. I think this team is just too quick and athletic for Colorado. They have a deep bench, so players will get enough rest and not be winded in the altitude. SDSU -3 at Wyoming This one is almost a no-brainer for me. Wyoming is without their leading scorer. This is a team that was just embarrassed by Fresno State. This is the same San Diego State team that went into Laramie last year and had totaled 23 hours of travel time due to delayed flights and snow and still went in and came out with the W. Boise St. -2 at Air Force Still not sold on Air Force either, at this point. Not much to say other than that I think Boise is a far better team. |

Never hedge unless you need the money.

Want to try out some other websites, but don't want to tie up all my money in different places. Are there any books with like $25 minimum?

So glad I didn't bet that one.
Moosed by Steve Fisher . Sorry for anyone who took the spread. I faded them after two piss poor performances. I can't wait to see how many points Vegas gives SDSU against UNLV. I'm thinking SDSU +5? |

I thought February only had 29 days this year?

Putting McDermott on Kansas only means the defense will be more concerned about other players on the team. Maybe that means he scores less points, but at the same time he'll have way more open shots. If you mean to tell me that his efficiency would go down at Kansas, you're crazy.

If line movements were a sure way to predict the outcome of a game, there would be a lot of rich bettors.

Pac 12 isn't a Big 6 basketball conference under any standards.

Screwed up the formatting for the New Mexico result. Should read: SDSU @ UNM 75-70 (SDSU)

Let's have a look at common opponents:
Wyoming SDSU @ Wyoming 52-42 (SDSU) CSU @ Wyoming 70-51 (WYO) New Mexico SDSU @ UNM (75-70) CSU @ UNM 82-52 (UNM) CSU against top 100 RPI @Stanford 52-64 (L) Southern Miss 58-79 (L) Colorado 65-64 (W) @Northern Iowa 77-83 (L) @Duke 64-87 (L) Denver 79-75 (W) @Wyoming 70-51 (L) @New Mexico 82-52 (L) SDSU against RPI top 100 @Baylor 67-77 (L) LBSU 77-73 (W) @Arizona 61-57 (W) Creighton 83-85 (L) Cal 64-63 (W) UNLV 69-67 (W) Wyoming 52-42 (W) Both teams will probably start four guards. https://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/ncaab-the-dagger-college-basketball-blog/san-diego-state-assembled-one-nation-top-backcourts-013942612.html There's an article you can read on our guards. I really don't think CSU compares. |

Seriously.
SDSU has covered in every conference game so far except for vs Air Force (-14) which is a ridiculous number for their slow style of offense. Go big on this one, boys. Wyoming -1.5 @ Boise is another solid MWC choice, too. |

5dimes has finally posted some futures for the NCAA tournament. It states "NCAA Men's Basketball 2011 - 2012 NCAA Championship
Sat 1/28 12:00PM" which seems kind of ambiguous. Does that mean Championship winner? Or would you win the bet if the team just shows up for the championship? |

RPI can be misleading.
Formula for a good RPI: Schedule some road games, then for the rest of the season schedule beatable teams with average RPI and do not schedule teams with terrible RPIs. It's what teams have been doing forever. I mean, just look at Seton Hall. Their only win against a top team came at UConn. The rest of their schedule is pretty average. They just have the luxury of not playing a huge number of 300+ ranked teams. |

BOL Sharp
I also think the over has a good chance of hitting. These are two very talented teams. Definitely see at least one team scoring in the 70's. |
