Well how many of you won and still paid your man today?
For those who don't understand think about it like this.
In Las Vegas you have to purchase a ticket with cash for lets say $110 to make a hundred on team x at either minus or plus pts. So now the book has $110 of your dollars and if you win they're only going to give you $210 back, not $220. Ah, they got you for $10. If your bet lost they have your $110 but you only lost what you bet. The other way around you win less than you bet. See, that's why the winner pays the book in any bet involving a negative vig.
Good luck and as always life is dandy being a capper formerly named Handy!!

Monday Bob looks to continue his streak as he is playing the Portland Trailblazers plus the pts. This is going to be an easy win for these guys. They're going to run the Rockets out of the Toyota Center. I would recommend everyone betting 3 times your normal bet on the Trailblazers. Oh year, don't forget to grab the ML for a nice piece of change too.
College hoops it doesn't get any easier than Kansas -4.5 at Texas. Just hit the Jayhawks early and often.
Trust me folks you're going to make a lot of money if you bet these teams. Two solid games and of course a possible bonus from bigshotbob.
Good luck and as always life is dandy when you're betting the same games as Handy!!

Don't worry fellas about Bob. You just worry about your depleting bank roll. Bob is fine. Always has and always will. If you think you can ever know every play someone makes then you're only fooling yourself.

chitown,
You're a moron. If you win he gives you $100 not the $110 you bet to make the $100. When you lose you simply hand him $110 or even money. Get it, you lose even money but only win .9091% of what you bet. You can't possibly be this stupid.

No, if you win you only win .9091% of what you bet based on a -110 line. When you lose you simply lose even money or what yout bet.
So a losing pt. spread wager is at even money and a winning one isn't. It's a raw deal for the player and that's why finding the best line with the lowest vig is the key to success.
It's a very difficult concept for the average dumb fuck gambler to grasp. That's why the house rules.

When you lose you pay what you bet, when you win you Don't get paid what you bet. See, that's why the bookie wins even when you do.

Chitown,
In fact you simply pay him even money when you lose. You don't pay any juice. You pay juice when you win.

Chitown,
Yes, you do pay your local when you win. If you bet 110 to make 100 you've paid you've paid him $10 for taking your bet. Otherwise he would be giving you $110 not $100. This isn't a hard concept to understand but most just don't get it.
Yes, you pay him jack when you win.

You have no idea what you're talking about. The winning player pays when he loses. The loser just loses what he/she bet. I'm not surprised most of you don't know this because 99% of gamblers don't and can't comrehend it.
Again, the bookie will only pay you .9091% of what you bet. In other words when you win the bookie still kept 9.09 % of your money. Yes, you won the bet but you didn't get paid even money even when you won.

No, you're 100% incorrect. You the player had to spend $110 to make $100. You lost $10 for being right. Get it? Ask anyone who knows anything about gambling and oddsmaking and you will find that out for yourself. The losing player simply lost what they bet, the winning player didn't collect 100% of what they bet. In the end Bob teaches again. Think about it 110 for 100 or 110 to lose 110. The loser pays even money, the winner doesn't collect even money.
Any time any one of you want to really match wits I'm game.

No, ML dogs that's not the case but any wager which involves laying a vig the house wins when you win. It's very true and most don't understand that the winning bettor pays 10% when they lose but the loser just loses even money.

Actually the point I'm getting at is this.
Most people don't realize that the house wins on every juice bet you make. (win or lose)
If you bet 110 to make 100 and win. The house made 10 bucks off you. When you bet 110 and lose you lost even money. They take 10% every time you win a bet which you lay 10%. Even when you win you lose. That's why they make so much money off so many.
