Titties all day...
I realized that with the birth of life, god bestows upon the Earth the gift of bigger boobies, as a woman's breasts grow and fill with nutrition after a baby is born. Everyday a baby brings us new life, bigger boobs, and some nutritious milk. IMO, that proves He was definitely a tit man too just my .02

Your education is only as good as what you make of it.
That being said, employers value education on different scales depending on the industry; so in a sense I agree with both woop and beeasy's perspectives.

the cost of 900 billion i believe refers to OPPORTUNITY cost...which is a very important variable when it comes to any type of financial concept
The Dems are not wrong in referring to the cost at all. That does not mean to say, that I believe we should tax the wealthy, just pointing out what they mean by costs to our government.

The part I disagreed with was the GPA. From my understanding, they have a minimum GPA which candidates need to meet in order to be accepted, and 3.0 was a little low in comparison to the GPA I was told to strive for. Then again, I could have been told a higher GPA for my own sake, as a motivational tool.

Top tier law schools and the top of the top tier (the top 20) seem to look for something that will make BF different than the nameless and faceless thousands. Keep in mind the admission committee includes students and professors. If you stand out to one, he/she will show your application to the others. I agree 100%. I have talked to people on the board of admissions at the Law School I work at, and they said they have minimum GPA/LSAT grades that they will accept, but beyond that they look for something to distinguish one candidate from another. One person even advised me to take a year off, and work in the law field after undergrad before applying. She advised me that this will make me stand out more on my application as well as give me a taste of what to expect from my profession. I understand I must be critical of the advice I receive from some representatives of the Law School whether it be students or professors etc., but I trust this woman's opinion because I know for a fact she is trying to help me out in getting accepted.

I hope you are right. I have well over a 3.0, and haven't taken the LSATs yet. BU is a great law school, and from my research (as brief as it may have been) that would not be sufficient to get into a Law School like BU. As for the contacts, obviously they aren't necessary to get into Law School, but I realized I had an opportunity to greatly increase my chances of getting into a top Law program and I took it. I was, and still am, hoping that having these contacts within the Law School itself would allow me some leeway if my GPA/LSAT score aren't up to par.

Exactly, which is why I have remained skeptical. The best piece of advice i have gotten from someone in the Law School in response to me questioning whether the employment opportunities will rebound was to take a year off after I graduate undergrad to get my feet on the ground then go from there.

Club, Do you mind providing me with some of this info on private law schools? I go to a good, private university in the Boston, and have been working at a good, private law school out here too in order to have contacts for when I apply (which I am still planning on doing). However, the money issue is a big factor for me and my family. I have worked in the Career Services Dept of the Law School, and I am aware of the current situation for grads finding employment as well as their debt situation. The only thing is that, the Guidance Counselors and Professors I have been in contact with since I started working at the Law School continue to assure me that the market will turn around, advising me to apply to the school. Would you mind letting me in on your opinion/info, as this is extremely relevant to my education? I have a very good chance of getting into the Law School I work at (which is pretty good ranking wise) but I'm always looking for opinions. I sent you a friend request if you'd rather talk about this via PM rather than on this thread.
