Here's a tip for betting the Heat during preseason:
Riles/Spo said Wade/Bosh/LBJ would be playing close to regular season minutes for the home preseason games while sitting more on the road and on 2nd games of back to backs. I'd lay the 10 vs Detroit tonight. There's a buzz down here about this team and the AAA is gonna be full tonight. They're not gonna want to disappoint the fans at tonight's game.

(neutral court in MIA...very far from gainsville, probably 5hrs+) FYI... there are probably 50K+ UF alumni in the So Fla area. They play the game down here specifically for those fans to get a chance to see them play. It will very much be home game for them. |

Since Defense is the theme, where is the D being played in the SEC? Sec D's gave up 27 to Louisville, 30 to West Virginia, 41 to Arkansas, 37 to South Carolina (one week after SCar scored 7), 24 to Washington, 24 to Ok St. and 24 to Vtech.
So because UF held Troy and Charleston So to 9 pts, the SEC defenses are the shit? Basically any time the SEC plays a team with a pulse, they're giving up points.

Boise looks good. Bama are good. Cinncy has Pike and that can win you some games
Cal and Penn state will lose
Wheels i would not be so sure about a UF UM matchup. Tebow can barely throw a forward pass in this new offense and Miami is pretty quick up and down the defensive line for all the oprtion fake bullshit they run, even last year when they were shitty had a chance to win against a much better florida offensive team.
Hopefully they play in BCS game
Finally someone who has watched some games instead of looking at scores. As much as I hate to say it, the best team I've seen is Bama. Texas and UF have the same problem-- lack of WR depth and that will bite them in the ass at some point. Last I checked, Tedfod still coaches at Cal and that equals 2 Ls regardless of talent. OU can be a monster but that will all depend on when Bradford gets back or if not how Landry adjusts to the step up in comp once Big 12 play starts. Big Miami fan, but I don't think we're ready. No oline depth, horrible special teams, and though we did a good job against GT, the tackling worries me. Oh, and UF doesn't wanna see Miami this year. Randy hasn't forgotten the bullshit FG by juice. While the U wasn't a threat to score a TD last year in the Swamp, that wouldn't be the case this year. I'd love to see Miami whup Gaytor ass this year. |

VANDY BIG!!!!!
Co-sign! Vandy's strength is D. Rice lost all of its offense from last year. This screams 24-7 at worst. |

For Miami- Van Dyke (starting CB) and A. Johnson (starting WR) should be back this week. They both missed GT. Looks like Forston (starting DT) will be out.

Here's my two cents. Nebraska has smacked two of the better sun belt teams by an avg of 38 pts. Now they get ULL whose not one of the bette teams. Nebraska will win by 40 this week.
The one I would be worried about it TAMU. They gave up 30 to Utah State last week and sure they can score but I'm not sure they can stop UAB from staying within 14.

Nebraska beat 2 of the better Sun Belt teams by about 35 each. Now they're only laying 26.5 to ULM. I'll take that all day.

Miami has usually matced up well against VT. Last year Miami kept VTs running game in check and forced VT to make Tyrod Taylor make plays. He didn't and the U won in a game that wasn't as close as the score.
Personally, as a big Canes fan, I'm expecting more of what we saw last year. A shut down of Ty Taylor and a UM win. My only concern is that VT has a big advantage in special teams.
All that being said, I think the Canes will be 3pt road favorites when the lines open.
