the ball doesn't magically land in the end zone if Eagles decide they want to let Saints walk it in

Why are people acting like a score would happen if Eagles wanted to let it?

Tipsy is crooked but the guy has stunk all year too. been hard to tell between his tanks/fixes this year or whether it's just him being awful

Asian swing/end of year are notoriously dangerous for fave backers, still great spots there though
Guys you want to trust are those still with something to play for - Raonic, Wawrinka, Tsonga, Gasquet, Fed etc who need points to make World Tour Finals otherwise there's gonna be a lot of shocks

Watch out for the altitude here, Gonzalez will of course be more suited to playing at such a height

most don't like playing there Look at all the upsets, you can tell that there hearts aren't into it. For the most part players speak well of Wimbledon. Upsets are not an indicator of their enjoyment. Funny what happened when the lesser players took it too their opponents and actually played attacking grass court tennis |

Reader Brian S. raises an interesting point: "Did I hear correctly? Did the ESPN guys actually question Bartoli's fitness? The same Bartoli who, at the Mercury Insurance Open last summer, played three-set matches on three consecutive days in which she averaged about 50 percent more running per match than Nadal did in his five-set Australian Open semifinal against Fernando Verdasco in 2009? She did 50 percent more running in half the time, hence working three times as hard, and does it three days in a row, and her fitness is being questioned? How many times do I have to remind people: The correlation between appearance and fitness level is far less direct for female athletes."

Oh and the little matter of it being about 70+ years since a British player won the tournament..

Murray 09-12 - 6 semi finals, 3 losing finals, 1 title Wozniacki 09-12 - 1 final, 3 semi finals. bit of a difference

The idea that a semi final for Murray is a success

Honestly, why should he be satisfied with his Wimbledon right now?
|

1. Grass is his best surface
2. He is a Wimbledon finalist in 2012 and then beat the champion in the Olympic Final in straight sets easy, as well as the likely finalist this year in the match before. Getting worse than last year is obviously good enough 3. He skipped the French Open to heal up and recover fully to play the grass season. This is the one tournament he wants to win more than any other. 4. The pressure in the UK is crazy. For years, it was HOPE that he could win one. After the US Open, he's shown he is capable of it and now there is EXPECTATION that he will win. 5. The draw has opened wide for him to make the final - no Tsonga, Federer, Nadal and he should be happy with making the semi final? 6. He's made 5 straight semi finals, and as NUMBER 2 SEED he should be making the final minimum And if you can't see the difference with Janowicz and Murray - EXPECTATIONS - then I don't think I can help you any further

Yeah, I imagine Murray's looking at the odds.
"Oh, hey the oddsmakers don't have me as favourite, it's okay if I don't lose" |

Hey, maybe it's not all about betting odds
I can explain it in easier terms for you if you find it too difficult to understand why Murray's tournament to date is nothing to be satisfied about..
