Nuggiessssssss, and I love the spurs play too although the MVP of the d league may surprise everyone at the point for the lakers. Defensively though, the lakers back court will get rocked!

I'm tempted to lay down a heavy bet on the under 203.5 MIL/ATL, my one hesitation is the hawks wanted to flex their offense muscles at home. I don't see the bucks putting up much of a fight and letting even the ATL bench steamroll them. A possible 115ish game for ATL could spell trouble

First off, let me start by saying that the Denver Nuggets are hands down my favorite team in the NBA. Most bettors would recommend you stay away from betting on your favorite teams because it clouds your judgement. However, I think betting on DEN -5.5 is a wise decision.
Houston's defense is to outscore the opponent. This will be hard to do in the mile-high city against a well rested Nuggets team that is looking to prove they don't need their top scorers (Lawson and Gallinari) to win. Also, Houston is coming off a b2b with key players Parsons and Delfino out. With Gallinari out, Wilson Chandler and Corey Brewer are going to step up big time. Iggy and Brewer will have no trouble holding Harden and Garcia down on the defensive end. I see the rebounding margin being even or in favor of the Nuggets. Greg Smith and Asik are very capable but they'll be going up against the manimal Kenneth Faried who will crash the boards to no end along with Koufus and McGee. Considering the injuries, these teams are pretty even. However the Nuggets have home court and rest on their side. The lack of depth for Houston will be their downfall.

ATL + 1.5
PHI -2 Going to hit these heavy instead of spreading the bankroll around today.. Thoughts and comments greatly appreciated! Also contemplating the over 202 on MIN/OKC

Agree on DAL, they've been on fire and are determined to get those beards off and into the play offs. I also think the line is set up for everyone to take INDY (trap game of the night if there is such a thing) Not so sure about MIL/LAL.. Im back and forth with that one. LAL offense will be on tonight but no Metta leaves Kobe at the SF position which leads to the defense slacking against a young, streaky, and potentially high-scoring Bucks squad. However, the inside game goes to the Lakers. Sanders and the Bucks wont be able to stop Dwight and Pau which will open up more opportunities for their back court as well. Kobe, Dwight and Pau will score an easy 70 pts combined tonight to be added to Nash, Blake, Meeks, Jamison, and Clark's points (average 8 a peice). Thats about 110 for LAL.. I'd say Bucks score around 110 too. If I had to put action on it.. LAL -2 Over: 209 but Im staying away. Why PHO? They are clearly looking ahead to next season sitting out Dragic last game and most likely tonight. Even if he plays, SAC is on a roll! Clear advantage in the front court for SAC with Gortat out and I' not a fan of the Suns back court either. Dragic is the only consistent player for them, I like the startying Morris brother too, but they cant win this alone. Even if Beasely pulls out one of his random good games, I cannot see the Kings losing this game. They are young and semi-deep so the B2B doesnt discourage me. Honestly the line opnly being -2 discourages me. All the news says Dragic will rest but maybe the insider info is that he is going to play and the low line leads to a lot of SAC action? Just some thoughts.. I will be staying away from the bets tonight to give my head and heart a rest. I plan on going big for the last 3 weeks of the regular season. BOL to you! |

After a little more research, I'd like to retract my statement of Sanders and MIL's ability to contain the paint. I give a littel too much credit to Sanders for his awesome blocking ability but MIL allows a ton of points in the paint and then struggles to get out to kick backs. I think its going to be a big game for Kobe, Pau, and Dwight which will help Nash, Meeks, and even Blake to have good games. Not to mention Clark and Jamison (most likey, considered probable). I still see it being a high-scoring game but after some more thought I think LAL tonight by 5 or 6. Revised Predicition - MIL: 103 LAL: 108 |

Keep your head up Forbes, betting on the NBA is just like the NBA itself.. a game of streaks. My gut says LAL and DAL but my mind says MIL and IND. First off, Im suspicious of the line in the IND/DAL game. I was expecting a +1 for the Mavs, yet it's -3.5 for the Mavs. The Mavs are really coming together and seemed determined to get that 8th seed, but can that overcome the INDY defense and, what I predict to be a HUGE, rebounding margin? Obviously the Mavs have home court advantage as well as a day of rest over the visiting B2B Indy. Also the return of West and Granger may not as a big of a pro for INDY as much as you would think. Chemistry is huge and Granger has been out for a minute. Although, I think West is fully capable of putting up huge numbers on his first night back. PREDICITION: MAVS: 96 INDY: 93 The offense of the Lakers will be just fine tonight, but after allowing 117 by MIN Im warying of betting on them. MIL is so streaky and I honestly think theyre overdue for a huge game. Jennings will be livid and come out with some fire along with the usual Monta Ellis and Ilyosova. High-scoring game turned shoot out goes to MIL. I also like Sanders ability to maintain Dwight and Pau. Predicition: MIL: 115 LAL: 110 After all that being said, I think tonight would be a good night for me to take off and get the mind right. Still some late season ball to bet big on before play offs. BOL tonight! |

The biggest factor in this game is the one no one has mentioned (OBVIOUSLY NOT WHO CAN DRIBBLE FASTER)
Chris paul and chauncey are both injured. Even if they play they will not be 100%. Bledsoe is gone, so who runs the point? Chris Paul for a good 20 minutes will lead to a lose for the fake lob city. Crawford, Butler, Griffin, and Jordan get 20 points a piece. 80 points with an added 10 from paul and another 10 from the bench. That leaves 100 points, 105 at most! The Clippers may also be looking forward to a couple more important games ahead as well as the play-offs in general in regard to Paul's injuries. Although every game is considered important this close to the playoffs. I like the Mavs offense right now with an amped Dirk and old-schooler James, not to mention Darren Collison most likely the fastest dribbler in the NBA! O.J. Mayo, Vince Carter, Kaman, and Marion will all contribute to lead to an easy 100 points. Prediction: Mavs 109, Clippers 103

Already bet on NYK, MEM, IND, and ATL.
ATL/POR - The Blazers are playing 4 games in 5 days. This is especially important due to the heavy reliance on the starters. These guys must be tired going to Atlanta and I think the scoreboard will reflect that. It's also a good match up for Atlanta in general so I like it despite the -8 spread. PHO/MIN - I'm really leaning towards MIN in this one considering the absence of C Gorat and most likely C O'Neil. The mismatch in the front court is going to be big and I don't think the suns have much of an advantage in the back court either. BOL tonight!

Chandler is not playing tonight for the knicks, however i think the addition of kenyon martin will prove to be key. Knicks win by 4

DEN/PHI - If Lawson sits, who will back up Miller at point? I have a lot of faith in Miller's ability to pass and even make up for some of the points that the absence of Lawson and Chandler will create, but will that be enough to cover 15 points? Philly's back court is so streaky which I think will either make or break a bet on Denver to cover. I think the front court of Faried, Kofous, and McGee will dominate against T. Young and Allen. Prediction: DEN 103 - PHI 89
CHI/POR - Will Robinson and Belonelli be able to contain Lillard and Mathews? Will Robinson continue his hot streak? Will Boozer actually put up some decent numbers this time against the Blazers? I like the bulls confidence at home but can they stop the Blazers' starters from running a train and keeping the rebounding margin zero? Predicition: CHI 96 - POR 87 Ill wait for the breakdown to place my bets, maybe you can add some more insight that will make me more confident |
