You can do it -
-Do your homework to determine comps of recent sales in the area so you know you are not overpaying for the property. - if interested make them an offer based upon a 7 - 10 day period for inspection ( this will tie up the property for you to do your due diligence, - you can walk at any time -- for any reason ) - write the contract so that the seller pays for the inspection - if still interested go find a title company in area for closing ( they will / can Refer you to an attorney to draw up the paperwork ) - Closing company will do title search and provide title insurance - I'd get the seller to pay for all closing, ins. , inspection etc. ( it would be in the offer contract ) - All things are negotiated and in contract |

Yes, he has balls and a desire to succeed --- two necessary things
And apparently the will not to cut and run. Now he needs a no emotion Approach that can be analyzed and altered to steer thru the maze. Than the discipline to stick to the plan.

Last time you were at this cross road you accelerated your losses w/ a bomb. Same situation --- different choice this time?
Calming down, good ---- predicting and then following thru with something stupid, bad. Your choice --- under no pressure of time. Good luck.

You won't have to wait much longer -- money management is a tough lesson to learn. To bad you appear to be an above average capper.
Hoping for the best -- may the force be with you.

CG, I understand your passion for what you are trying to do. I also understand your parents passion for wanting there child to be happy in life ------ as long as that path is not about gambling or dancing around a pole. That being said, it is your life to live not your parents. This life you have apparently chosen takes a thick skin.
You might consider taking a break from gambling while relatives are in town ---- as you have learned distractions and mistakes of judgement can be expensive in this profession. Your parents are not forever but they play the Star Spangled Banner somewhere everyday. If you take that break you may create lasting memories worth more than another wager win or lose. May the force be with you.

Vanzack speaks truth from experience. If it was easy anyone could do it.
Hang in there and learn your lessons. You will be fine --- sometimes Your own beliefs are all the support you will have. It is also what will drive you to the level you seek. Many are called -- few are chosen.

Miz - I can relate -- you are obviously a rare bird.
Question? Got kids? Would you teach any or all of them this acquired skill? Or You think it would just "screw up" their life? Also, if you are playing offshore -- how many books are you playing in. What is your strategy of how much $$$ to keep in each book account? At what level are you cashing to pull your winnings. Have you had trouble getting booted from winning to much $$$$? How much are you finding you can win before you are booted?
