Odds didn't go in the way I expected ... and finally a bad bet.... It should be a draw in the best case but Bordeaux didn't steal their victory... Sorry for those followed (Spec ...) Lens was a real value and spread point +0.25 too. Little greedy on this one. Let's turn around. France - Ligue 1 Nantes - Bordeaux Nantes -0.5 2.02 | 1.5 France - Ligue 2
Brest - Lens Lens -0.5 3.03 | 1 19 - 20.5 - 5 | -1.3332 (50.7u | +2.42%) Spain - Liga Real Sociedad - Celta Vigo Hm 0.5 1.98 | 1 For those who have an interest in my picks, I have a google list where I deliver daily picks. Drop me a message iljollypremium@gmail.com (more than 13% ROI in January) Btw it's free. |

Hi spec, I agree with you and generally I avoid these games or go on the new coach side. This year three Ligue 1 coaches have been fired. In order Metz - St Etienne - Lille. Metz and St Etienne played Lille the game after and lost (Metz at home and St Etienne away (with Sable like coach who isn't the headcoach anymore but still in the staff) Lille played at Montpellier and lost. But it's not a rule. The fact that Nantes lost 2 points stupidly yesterday has influenced my choice too. Ranieri is a serious and good coach and he will empower his players. In an other hand I think Bordeaux will need more than 3 days to back in the black and the talent of Malcom isn't enough for a whole team. Against Cean they were really without inspiration and with Ranieri's tactic I don't see how Bordeaux could be dangerous. In addition it's a transit coach in Bordeaux 'til they find the new one. I am really curious about Inter-Roma and I hope it will be an interesting game. Both teams need to find back their confidence. I won't touch. |

20th January
Odds will continue to drop. Bordeaux sacked their manager and two players ask to terminate/cancel their contract Sankhare and Toulalan. Request accepted for Toulalan.... We know the strength of Nantes at home especially to keep the score when they open it and after having lost two points on silly mistake at the last minute against Toulouse I expect a win. France - Ligue 1 Nantes - Bordeaux Nantes -0.5 2.02 | 1.5 Gl

Hi Spec,
One good thing for your pick is that Malcolm will start the game. Without him I will go to Caen +0.5 @ 2.22 (odds won't be the same without Malcolm) really nice odds and IMO the value is on this side. Caen play a soccer which can annoyed Bordeaux style. I'd say a draw for this game. Agree on Reims.

Lnl,
I agree with you concerning Germain. He's not the killer that Marseille needs. I'm still sure he can reach 10 goals and some assists in Ligue 1. Mitroglou haven't had a good preparation so it still can show some good performance in the second part of season (still a plenty of game). He was a last choice for Marseille (recruited the last day) ans they spent some cash on him.... I'm also not sure Marseille can afford an other striker during this window. Today news were speaking about Sturridge... it seems impossible lol. I definitely like to see more M.Lopez too. Kid from the house (which is quite rare in Marseille). It looks like a nagging injury for Payet and IMO if he stays at this performance level he could miss the WC (despite Deschamp affinity). Personally I'm a fan of Sanson and I like to see him 10 . As you said Marseille takes points when they have for once. Specimen, I'm sure Aulas (Lyon's president) put a lot of pressure on EL. The stadium is his baby and has a lot of influence on players, manager and supporters. But there is a high level in the competition (plus the ticket for the CL) and as you said it will depends the draw. Gl

Lyon will take Paris more seriously I guess, media exposition + fan want this game + some conflict between both president + 2nd place is the main target to find back the CL. Their 2nd objective is EL where the final will take place in their stadium and the president dream of this. Even in French cup is important for them they will probably use roster for the fixture against Monaco. We'll see. Gl

He needs to wait at least until Lloris|Mandanda retiree. Lloris has an unassailable position that I don't think really fair regarding his performance since a big year but he has the experience with Les Blues.
I totally agree with your judgement concerning Lyon pk. The odds is really too much. Lyon has an impressive squad and has caused trouble to Paris at the beginning of the season despite the defeat 2-0. Btw, are you still pessimistic about Marseille's performances ? Gl
