I don't disagree with your pick, the DR has been phenomenal this tournament. But is there any team hotter with the sticks than the Dutch? Now they get Profar at the top of the lineup, hitting 2nd I believe. I really like what this Dutch team brings; a bunch of kids who are too young and carefree to realize they should be nervous.
I realize we're at AT&T Park, Volquez is going for DR, and the DR has a great 'pen, but I'm surprised enough money has come in on the under to move it to 8.5. Gonna take a small shot with Over 8.5 (-110). I think both teams can mash, and even though DR has all that pitching power, these Dutch are hitting everyone right now. Should be a really exciting game... good luck with your DR play. JB

Netherlands starting an absolute gas can (Bergman) tonight; their stable of "pitchers" was in rough shape for Cuba, so they won't be throwing out anyone decent tonight. Dutch bats are also in rough shape with Balentien and Bernadina hurting.
Real tough game to bet, personally will be taking a super small play on the over 9. If Bergman gets hit by Australia, Japan might light him up... Dutch might not have much sense of urgency to go to the pen... might leave him out there to eat up innings. gl

But I can tell you whose fans are not going to the game, and if you're naive enough to believe more than 1/4 of the tickets were sold to Argos fans, I've got some magic beans to sell ya. |

Should be live on the NBC Sports Network Channel, which I think used to be OLN or something.

Not sure if I'll hedge or not but I also do believe the Stampeders will win this game. I wouldn't really call the Argos the home team. Even though they are hyping this game in Toronto, it has been sold out for months and the people coming are not Argos fans. You might see some Argo blue sneak in now that they're there, but it's not really a home game. If anything, they might be spooked by the sell out crowd.

Long live the CFL.
Gonna be the first Lions playoff game in 10 years that I miss.

Games will stop airing on Sundays when the ratings stop going up. Sucks for people who like the NFL, but there are a ton of people who couldn't care less about the NFL (older generation) and they keep the tv ratings up. |

All over the Argos.
has the cfl ever combined for over 100,000 in attendance on division finals sunday? definitely not in the past decade... this could be the year.

This year at the beginning of the year it came out as 7.5 yet they traded away Ricky Ray. How could this be? This was a trap. If you do some further analysis, Edmonton ended up winning 7 games so it truly did prove to be a trap. Now at the end of the season, in a playoff match, it just so happens that Ricky Ray goes against his former team. Obviously from the beginning oddsmakers (aka Randall) had no confidence that they would go over 7.5. Yes, this was just the regular season and it has nothing to do with the playoffs but you know Edmonton was not going to win this game putting them over the 7.5 total. Then the line comes out as +3.5. Another trap. There was never a doubt that Toronto would win this thing. Now this is how it's done folks. You can question my thinking all you want but if you did and went against me you would be poor now while I just used house money and took Randall for a ride. Ugh, I seriously had to read this like 3 times to make sense of it. Are you saying that a Edmonton win yesterday would have put them over the 7.5 season win total? I don't think that's true.

I was at that Stamps/Tiger Cats game... lots of snow, and cold. Didn't impact the total, led to countless turnovers and opportunities for points. I do think this gives a bit of an edge to Calgary as Cornish is better than Sheets and much better/used to the snow.

You'd think the organizational issues would be enough to prop this line up 1.5-2 pts, so I don't get it either. I think -3 at Pinny is a great number. This team is night and day with Ray, that's how they've been for the past 3 years... they just didn't have Ray until this season.

I would have set it around Toronto -5.
Greek has it out at Toronto -3.5. |

In defence of Ice, the Lions came to play and had all intentions of winning that game. Even after the slow start they turned it around, but Reilly just couldn't move the offence in the 3rd quarter.. if he had generated even one TD in that Q I think the Lions would have made it interesting. Don't know why the Stamps looked so amped up about the win... Lulay is miles ahead of Reilly at the moment. Reilly has little to zero experience playing in the cold. Will be a different story at BC Place in November. |

Not to mention the Eskies just traded Greg Carr to Sasky, which I don't get. I realize they will try and manipulate the ratio by putting a Canadian out there in his spot, but Carr was a big guy with great hands. GL

Glenn is not a huge downgrade from Tate. He's just more high risk.

let's keep this points fest going.
Glenn is one of those qbs who has the ability to have a great game, but can also sink a ship. Stamps not out of it. |
