Junior running back Jela Duncan and sophomore quarterback Parker Boehme rushed for two touchdowns apiece as Duke rolled to a 44-3 nonconference victory over Army at West Point, N.Y.

Junior quarterback Thomas Sirk passed for 197 yards and one touchdown as the Blue Devils (5-1) won their third straight game. Senior safety Jeremy Cash had two tackles for loss and recovered a fumble to thwart Army's best opportunity for a touchdown and Duke limited the Black Knights to 168 offensive yards.

Senior kicker Daniel Grochowski's third-quarter field goal represented the lone points for the Black Knights (1-5). Army fumbled seven times, losing two, and sophomore quarterback Ahmad Bradshaw threw a fourth-quarter interception.

The Blue Devils started strong with 10 first-quarter points. Senior kicker Ross Martin booted a 40-yard field goal less than four minutes into the contest and Sirk tossed a 9-yard scoring pass to junior tight end Erich Schneider with 1:11 remaining in the quarter.

Boehme, the goal-line quarterback, tacked on a 3-yard touchdown run to make it 17-0 with 11:01 left in the first half. Duncan broke loose on a 43-yard scoring jaunt with 6:18 to play and Martin added a 25-yard field goal with six seconds remaining to give Duke a 27-0 halftime lead.

Grochowski connected on a 22-yard field goal six minutes into the third quarter to get Army on the board. Martin hit another 25-yard field goal with 4:30 left in the third quarter and Duncan and Boehme scored on short runs early in the fourth quarter to stretch the lead to 41.
