Was a longtime follower of Bubba/USC Homies thread. Felt now that it's gone to its own site we've had less posts from regulars and everyone else. Hoping to keep this going as I have made some good cash tailing a few.

$$$$ THREAD CONCEPT - This thread is for all of us to share our expertise with everyone else to benefit the group. THIS IS NOT A PICKING CONTEST! PLEASE make special note of this! If you have an area of expertise, please make some $$$$ choices from your area of expertise when you have a game you are confident enough in to call it a "$$$$ PLAY". The difference between a PICK and a $$$$ PLAY is that a PICK is a game you like, a $$$$ PLAY is a game that you KNOW. If you are claiming your choice is a $$$$, and you really have NO true knowledge of that game, then you are just cheating us and posting your PICK just for attention and to see your name on the board. RULES FOR POSTING - We will not track your $$$$ PLAY if you do not follow these rules. You are welcome to still post your PICK or card, but unless you do the things below, we won't be putting your $$$$ on the spreadsheet. Only one $$$$ per day and a MAXIMUM of 4 per week. A week starts on Mon and ends on Sun. - No buying points. - No other "line-manipulations" like teasers, etc. - No parlays - No props - $$$$ PLAYS need to be -150 or lower. Anything -151 and over, take the -1.5 goals or runs. - Do not try to cheat on lines. We, as a group, are all over the lines and every time someone gives a stinky spread, it is always called out. If the line is off, the $$$$ doesn't go into the spreadsheet.
You must give an ORIGINAL explanation as to why you KNOW this $$$$ PLAY will win. And don't just "stat" us to death. Tell us about the game. DO NOT COPY YOUR WRITE-UPS! People on this thread are all over the internet and will find your plagiarism. I guarantee it. You can use Last 10, ATS, etc., numbers to support your argument, but stats from a gambling website are not an explanation. FOLLOW THESE RULES AND YOUR $$$$ PICK WILL GET TRACKED Thank you for helping keep this thread positive. It is for the benefit of everybody, not just a place for you to blather out random picks and toot your own h |

I had a very large sum of money on 2h Giants vs. Dallas on Monday Night Football. Huge Cowboy fan, it was the game Romo got hurt before halftime, I knew fuckn Kitna was washed up and figured there was no way in hell they cover the 2h line with that clown at QB with no reps during the week, team deflated, etc. Score is 24-20 Giants at the half, I got the Giants at -5.5 2h so had to win the game by 10. Giants get 2 quick td's in the 3rd quarter, Kitna is looking awful and the score is eventually 38-20 with 6 minutes left to go in the 4th quarter. Of all fuckn people, Kitna drives the Cowboys down and gets a TD with 3:17 left on the clock. They score the 2 pt conversion so its 38-28 with 3:17 left. Cowboys attempt an onside kick, have no timeouts left, Giants recover the onside and drive the ball to about the Cowboys 15 yard line. They have 4th and 1 with 1:55 left to go in the game. Instead of just going for the yard and closing out the game, they decide to kick a FG and its 41-28 with 1:55 and no timeouts for the Cowboys. Of course the Cowboys get the ball back and somehow fuckn Kitna drives the ball to the Giants 15 yard line. At this point its 4th and 1, 40 seconds left in the game, and of course Kitna throws the easiest slant to Dez Bryant for a TD. Final 41-35. It was a surreal moment. Of course I have many other bad beats, but this is the freshest one that comes to mind considering the amount of cash I had on it.

They did it the last 8 games last year and went Under every single time. Apparently, they went to the true "burn" for the first time against Pitt this year and that went way under as well.

The more I think about it I don't even think it matters. I know you are a Cowboy fan, as am I. The situation in Tennessee reeks of what was happening in Dallas before the coaching change. The players seem to have lost faith in Fisher and it is showing on the field. The comments from the Tenn players are typical of what the Dallas players were saying during that awful streak: "we are just pressing, we need to get back to playing our game, etc"...in other words, we don't give a fuck, we don't trust our coach anymore, and at the first sign of bad thing in this game we will fold because we simply don't care anymore.

Take the game line at 3.5, pop open a brew, and don't worry about what happens in the 1h IMO. Colts could be down 3 or 4 at the half and still easily cover this number against the Titans. I think your reasoning is right on. In my experience, game bets are usually safer. Gl with whatever you decide.

I think you've got yourself a winner with San Ant. I think this line ought to be around -14. GL

Game:
A couple weeks ago when Bradley was playing Loyola Marymount you had a good writeup on why Maramount would cover, which also included alot of info about Bradley. Would you mind reposting that and/or mentioning your thoughts on the Duke/Bradley game tonight. I tried looking for the thread but it seems covers only allows you to go back a couple weeks and this game was on 11/17. I really think Duke blows them out of the water even without Irving but I'd love to hear your thoughts. Also your thoughts on Louisville/San fran would be appreciated. Thanks and GL

You will go broke following people on this forum quick. Not one person that I saw on here mentioned that Dallas has been in training camp one more week than the bengals so had a huge advantage. Do your own research, make your own picks.

For as much as everybody here focuses on line movement, who the public is on, and who covers posters on....does anybody have any historical track or percentage that fading whoever yall are fading even works?

I'm on Zona and i've already lost the Under in CWS today, Colorado, and am about to go 0-3 on a 3 teamer with cleveland, florida and san fran. I would strongly consider taking Washington and Seattle, as I am all over Zona and Texas tonight.

I hate laying that much juice with a team that has lost 6 in a row on the road. Having said that, the revenge angle against a shitty pitt team might mitigate that factor.
