This would be all be more clear if we didn't try to think in black and white. It's not 100% fixed, it's not 100% clean.
If you don't think Refs leaned SEA, then congratulations, you know more about football than Joe Buck and Troy Aikman. But then explain this: why did our man pick this game so early in the week?! It was that much of a mismatch? Or was there something else at work? Excellent calls, Phix. As someone who took a beating with you mid-season (Redskins anyone? ), I can see the key is to just commit and stick with it. As sportsmavin says, winning streaks will be losing streaks, and losing streaks will be winning streaks. Good work and thanks for your hanging out with this brotherhood of degenerates

My call (and I know nothing):
With 81% early on DEN, line will go up to 2.5 - 3.5, but still >60% of public on DEN, Peyton, & Elway Game: lots of early calls on Seattle DBs that rest of league has been waiting for, they'll be handcuffed like they've been handcuffing receivers beyond 5 yard line all year. Denver wins, Seattle covers, Peyton retires in offseason with neck degeneration. Wish I could parlay that. *** From Twitter: Since NGC began tracking Super Bowl betting results in 1991, Nevada books have come out ahead in 21 of 23 Super Bowls.

I'm sure it had NOTHING to do with what transpired on the field today with all the no calls and phantom calls by the refs. And NOTHING to do with 57/59% of public on SF ATS/ML. I think the niners COULD have grabbed this game with a few more breaks, a few less crap ref calls, or just better play on offense. But as to the ongoing argument on here about Vegas' influence: Why did our man here call this game MONDAY and then we witnessed the refs doing as much as they could to tilt the field? Not saying it's 100%, they only had to give S-hawks a better than fighting chance.

I think they douchey response is your snarkiness on your first $%^& post on covers. Jeez.

I'd bet on WWE if I could make $$ in the long run. I appreciate the transparency with your record and the mad respect around the board means you must be doing something right. But the random conspiracy theory seems odd. To me, the best evidence that fixes aren't happening is Donaghy's capping skills. The guy was a former NBA ref. If fixes were that rampant, he'd know all the tendencies of the NBA - when they want certain teams to win, to lose. When they want certain games to go over, go under, etc. He'd make a killing in gambling or selling picks. But he isn't. He's trying to peddle lousy books about the NBA gambling scandal and isn't finding any takers. A great shooting team like HOU completely tanks/whiffs in the 2nd half...whether the fix was in or not, it doesn't look good. Looks like they're trying to lose.

Phix, you are winning in NBA in past week, losing this season - plenty of sample to look at winning and losing. What can we learn from times theory SEEMS contradicted? Thanks man

Maybe the public sees an over half and assumes the next one will be over too. But reversing total works often. 1H O ==> 2H U, or vice versa. Nothing works all the time, but I've seen this win.

Over / Under? Over strong lately for MEM, but will they opt to shut down MIL instead of running? MEM 4-0 Over on no rest games.... Really puzzled about this call

76% of public on SF, ML and spread. That goes along with Phixer Philosophy to pick CAR, I think.
But from NFL POV, think they'd want NE-DEN Brady-Manning Marquee matchup (rematch.) That's ML wins for those teams, not covers, so no $ in it. Curious if others can see another way to spin it. |

"sometimes i read my own posts few hours later and i am cracking up laughing. yeah. definitely i have some demons to deal with. well, life is a learning experience. " Is there any other capper who a) wins b) gives it away and c) is so %&*$ing entertaining? That would be a big NO. BOL in divisional round, Phi Xer
