PIDI -- you couldn't have known Rusty Smith would be horrendous inside the 20. Way too many turnovers when they could have 2 field goals and, lo and behold, the over would hit.
I was with you and took a similar hit. Good thing the over on MNF softened the hurt.

PIDI -- did you see the game? How many f&*$#^&g turnovers can FAU (and specifically Rusty Smith) commit in the Red Zone? Smith was absolutely horrible, to say the least, yesterday.

Like the pick PIDI. I've had this game on my radar all week. Line is 13 now and may be 14 by game time. Chance for UConn to show that they are not just a basketball school tonight on national TV. That and I think Uconn's coach won't need a crowbar to get his head out of his a$$!!
Best of luck this weekend, my friend!! |

There is inept, and there is what Auburn's offense looked like last week against Miss St. They were below inept. I can' t think of a word to describe it, that's how bad they were. As for Bob's list, I lean

MISS,,,,,,,,,,,,, - 6.5 -- yes
BYU,,,,,,,,,,,,,, - 28.5 -- yes
LSU,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, - 2.5 -- yes

I am Uconn as well tonight -- especially for the 1st half. Uconn's D is solid and they can move the ball. It's not going to be like the UVA game last week, but this is a chance for the Huskies to make a statement on national TV. I think Uconn wins and covers in this one.
I like SJ State in their tilt against a bad Stanford team, and Minnesota over Fl Atlantic -- Minn owes them some payback for last year. Good luck this weekend!!! |

Don't forget, with Schilling not pitching every 5th day, he needs to keep himself relevant somehow. Manny may be the worst teammate in history, and his prima donna nature is only rivaled by Barry Bonds as a SF Giant, but Schilling is an a$$goblin. That doesn't change just because people may agree with his position when it comes to Manny.

Hey Lee --
You apparently don't know that Deezy loves to play the WNBA -- or that the WNBA actually exists

You and me both PIDI. The problems at Rutgers are three -- (1) Mike Teel is not a good QB. Ray Rice was that good last year. Now that he has to step up, he has been exposed. Too many bad decisions by Teel. Teel is hanging this team out to dry all by himself -- a QB can do that. You would think that a senior who has played for 2+ years already would be a bit more polished. You would think he was throwing like crap on purpose, that's how bad many of decisions have been. (2) Greg Schiano has to stop reading the press clippings from last year. He also has to admit when his QB is flat out stinking up the joint. Make the move to Lovelace and let's see where this team can go. (3) You and I can play better at CB than Rutgers' current crew. Now, I have no idea if you are in any type of shape, but I, for one, am in shape -- but that shape has gotten round. The corners are horrid.
I only had them for the 1st half, and much smaller than you. After what I saw, I can't see me placing any more on their side of ledger. Holy Ass-Whooping Batman no doubt!
Better luck over the weekend PIDI!!! Liking Clemson alot.

Like the Knights tonight, but being from NJ, maybe I am a little biased.
Good luck, my friend.

Texas/Arkansas is now on the 27th, because of Ike. will have to now wait 3 weeks and see what happens there. TCU is playing at Noon, at least right now. Line is already up to 13 (and will likely be 14 by gametime).
My Dog play of the week -- Middle Tennessee St getting 16 1/2 from Kentucky. I wonder is Joe Public actually realizes that Andre Woodson isn't their QB this year. Wildcat 'D' is suspect and last time Midd Tenn played a BCS team in the state of Kentucky, they gave Louisville all they can handle.
Good luck boys!!

Bob --
My thoughts:
I like 3 plays (all large spreads) early -- Texas -23.5 over Arkansas (who is pitiful this year), Clemson - 18 1/2 over NC State (Clemson sends big message after losing to Bama) and Arizona State -22.5 over UNLV (A-St hansg at least 45 on UNLV).
Leans toward TCU -12 (good defense and can run the ball well) over Stanford and Uconn -12 over Virginia (UVA is horrible this year).
Heck of a week last week!

Agreed Arc. Utes line is inflated because of the win in Ann Arbor last week. They might cover it, but I'm not so sure.
Like I said, Denver has no business being a road fave -- especially without a legit #1 RB and Brandon Marshall out -- And with a suspect defense to boot.
BOL to all!!

Way tooooooo many games on the docket bob. Of your Favorites, I like Oklahoma and Oklahoma St, with leans toward Northwestern (there is a reason they are favored on the road -- Duke is terrible) and Penn St. Uconn can lose the game outright to Temple (should have last year) and I think Iowa St is favorite because of their conference and that's it.
In the pros, Denver has no business being a road favorite to anyone -- even the Raiders.
Good luck!!!

Heck of a beginning to the College season PIDI!!!
I like Western Mich -6 tomorrow and the over the the Texas Tech/Nevada game. They may score 80!!! Weather in our neck of the woods tomorrow scares me a bit. Otherwise, I think Joe Pa's boys would be a pretty good play, as would be the Temple Owls. Rain is the great equalizer.
Good luck during the season, my friend!.
