Well being a die hard Pats fan it's hard to have your QB out for the season. But to listen to people celebrate his misfortune is troubling.
Whether or not Brady plays for the Pats, he is still one of the Best QB's of all time. I will just miss watching him play the game.
On another note, coach B isn't going to keep Cassell around for 4yrs if he wasn't any good. A lot of people are counting the Pats out. There still is a Team there. It's not like there's no talent. Cassell is surrounded by a huge arsenal.
Do I think the Pats go to the Bowl, probably not. Playoffs, yes. Jets - Pats. Small wager on the Pats. And I like the under.
Good luck -

I must say I'm a little disappointed at the reaction to Tom B's injury. I am a Hard-core Pats Fan, but even if Brady played for another team, I'd still feel bad. Just as an absolutely outstanding Quarterback in general. It's a loss for all the NFL. It's not like we have tons of exceptional QB's these days. He's just one of the best Quarterbacks we will see in our time. And if he is out for the season, I will miss watching him play.

Why is it as the season has went on that the high powered, quick strike passing attacks have all the sudden wanted to become "balanced"??? (Fu@k you Wade Phillips)... The one thing that I love about San Diego is that they are always there to limit the big plays after catch...meaning if you're going to score long on them, you better be behind them because if you catch it in front, they are not going to miss the tackle..Chargers also have some very athletic recievers in Jackson and Chambers that are capable of making the big play on any given play... However, this is what the Patriots have been playing for all season...gearing up for this game thinking that it was going to be a rematch against the colts and that in everyone's eyes this would be the real super bowl...I expect them to take the intensity they would have had if it was against the colts and take it out on SD... Too many personnel factors right now for me to go with any confidence...but I have ran the game w/ LT, w/o LT, w/rivers, w/o rivers...average still came up close to the same New England 34 San Diego 13
Well said I've got it at: Pats - 31 Chargers - 13 |

Gonna Roll with the G-men and the points, I think the Giants keep it close. Don't think it's going to be a Blowout like a lot of people are speculating.

Pats to the Dance Chargers are beat up, that was a Hard hitting game in Indy my friends I really don't like the spread at 14 going to wait and see how much it drops in the next couple days. I really like the Pats to cover anything under 14 here. And the over is tempting but don't think I'm going to touch it, because if you bet the under (which I'd be leaning toward) then you can't really enjoy the game.
Pats - 31
Chargers - 13
Good luck to all which ever way you roll

FOXBORO -- Marlin Jackson slid to the turf, thrust both arms over his head and let out a scream. The Colts were going to the Super Bowl. It was one of the darkest moments in [] history. No team had ever blown a bigger lead in the AFC title game. When Jackson’s interception sealed the Colts’ comeback from 21-3 down in a 38-34 victory last January, Patriots fans had no way of knowing that the seeds of rebirth were already being planted. Far from devastated by the loss, the front office was instead moved to action. For the players, there was no greater motivator than ensuring they never felt that way again. "We’ll be back full force, all of us," cornerback [] guaranteed a day after the defeat. "I don’t think anyone wants to end on a sour note like that." The 12 months that followed have produced some of the most riveting storylines ever to grace these parts, with the new-look Patriots overcoming everything from the death of Marquise Hill to []’s suspension for using human growth hormone to the furor that erupted over Camera-gate. On Saturday they have a chance to polish off the most dominant regular season in history against the New York Giants. If they win, they’ll become the first team to finish a season 16-0 and join the 1972 Miami Dolphins [] as the only squads to achieve regular-season perfection. "It’s something we’ll talk about when we’re older and retired," Harrison said. "It has no bearing on what we have to do to prepare for next week." A quintessentially Patriots-like response in what has been the quintessential Patriots season. What follows is a look back at the year that was. |
