It wouldn't be the biggest shocker in the history the gaming if ODU were to cover, but anyway you slice this, there's a huge discrepancy in talent between these two teams. If you want me to take a team that's 2-19, it's going to take more than 6.5 points.

So, you're the head coach of a team leading by 6 or 8 points and there's a minute or two left. What's the ONE thing you're telling your team? "Don't foul!."
If Kevin Stallings isn't smart enough to tell his players to drive to the hoop, then he's obviously not good enough to coach at this level. Someone also mentioned fouling with 3 seconds to go, which, of course, would also have guaranteed a Vandy win. That was a terrible display of coaching. If Stallings finds himself out of a job in another two months, I can't say I'll be shocked. |

On paper, taking the points looks SO attractive. But Indiana is one of those teams where there's a true home-court advantage; when that crowd gets going . . .
I'm taking a pass on this game.

Not quite sure why you say Boise State is inconsistent on the road. By my count BSU is 4-1 ATS away from home so far this year.

Hmmm, this is bad news. 2 six day losing streaks is pretty much a bank roll killer. If you started at $10 you could afford to chase it to a game 7 or so, but if you started at $50 you'd probably go broke. I'm still going to track it for the rest of the season. There were two FOUR-game losing streaks in May, not six games. What I might consider doing is to track this and start to play it after two straight losing days.

For the month of June, this would have produced a record of either 18-12 or 17-13, depending on how you played the games of June 1, when two teams were tied for the second-highest favorite. As I went back to calculate this, I noticed that you have to have some luck on your side. In a group of the four biggest favorites that are closely bunched (say, for example, -175, -173, -173 and -171), your top two picks could change quite frequently throughout the day. They might be Team A and B at 1 o'clock in the afternoon, then A and D an hour later, B and C an hour after that, etc. But at no time in June was there more than two losing days in a row, so this might show some promise.

I know I wouldn't have had the ability to simply detain these lowlifes. I would have had them get the four people they killed and put their bodies on the top deck. Then I would have lined them up in front of those bodies, so they could see them in plain site, and said, "Boys, today is not your lucky day." I would have shot the first one in line and dumped him overboard, then gone right down the line. Leave 'em for the sharks.

The players hold more power than they think, but if you think about it realistically, who's better suited to make it through two/three/four weeks of missed games, an NFL owner or all those players who've been in the league for one or two years? A deal will get done and it might not be until Labor Day, but the outcome won't surprise anyone.

Follow directions carefully:
1) Find out how many rushing yards the Steelers gave up, on average, during the regular season. 2) Look at Green Bay's rushing average for the regular season. 3) Find the prop on Green Bay's rushing total in the Super Bowl. 4) Bet heavily. 5) Hire a security guard when you collect your winnings. |

If I'm not mistaken, two TEAMS managed to rush for 100 yards on the Steelers during the regular season. (I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong.) I hope the only reason you're making such an idiotic statement is that you found someone to give you 25-to-1 on it. Otherwise, you have no chance whatsoever to cash this.

Sure sounds like someone bet on the Jets and lost more than they could afford.

Green Bay won't get 50 yards rushing.

I thought I was the only person in the world who's never been on Facebook or Twitter. For the life of me I'll never understand why I need to tell anyone that I'm about to go to lunch.

If my monthly bill is $75, it generally breaks down to $25 for water for $50 for sewage. What ticks me off is that you get a sewage charge according to how much water you use, so if I need to water the lawn, I'm using no sewage service but getting charged for it.
