WOW, thats the only way to put it. A great contest, with an unbelievable ending. What a strategy to win it on the last play by The Prez. Congrats Prez, spend that 25k wisely.

Hey Prez,
I do have one request, if u can forgive my comment yesterday. Is it possible to include some of the top concensus totals into the wagerline segment? I myself am more of a totals bettor, and would appreciate some teddy and prez insight on some of the more popular totals in the NBA and the MLB. Thanks.

Hey, dont get into it then Prez either way its chill. I was simply stating the obvious since this isn't the first time this has come up. If u look back at the last 71 pages of this thread, I never said anything to the sort that u guys suck, I actually applauded you for putting on a great show. I'm still a listener either way, so good luck, and Prez I am rooting for the comeback, everyone loves the underdog story, so good luck to all.

No offense to either of you (Teddy and The Prez), but the validity of this bet is definitely questionable based on some of the plays you two have used. Like i said before, it was genius in terms of marketing the show/everything else, but is that all it is? Prez has chose to bring this contest into "extra innings," but then chooses to use his 7* MLB play instead of a 9* NBA play which seems like his stronger play, and would give him a better chance to catch Teddy. Also, if it is a matter of leaving the best play for the paying customers, then why even bring this contest into the extra week if you would be making more money selling the plays. I may be out of line here, and Prez's 9* NBA play may be the same as Teddy's play used in the contest today (Mavs +6.5) and therefore would be pointless to use, and defeat the whole purpose of his strategy to run Teddy down. Although this may be the case, I'm pretty sure this situation has happened in the past, and been talked about before between the two of you on the radio. It may also just be that the Prez's best plays at the time of the show were the 7* plays. To tell u the truth I am a little confused about the whole thing.

Beckett Season Opener 7IP, 2 Hits, 1 ER, 10 K's I think that was a little better than CC. Unbelievable performance.... GOT TO SEE IT FROM 10 ROWS BEHIND 3RD!!!

Osirus, although you are correct on both counts, pettite (who i despise), and schilling are all done... Beckett hasn't even entered his 30's yet.

I am a sox fan obviously, but even i can admit the money spent on sabathia will pay off in the long run. He may be chubby but he is a hell of a pitcher. I wasn't unhappy to see the result on opening day though... kid got shelled.

Please take my advice: The most important key is manager your money and Study on Sports before you decide to place to bet on sports. I suggest you to start with $100 if you have over 5k in your bank. Just bet one team that's it because it will help you alot. I alway bet one team in daily or sometime. Please slow down and take a time. Don't rush by yourself because if you do then you will lose your bet. i hope you take my advice! HAHAHAHAHA...

If you suck with NBA plays... Hmmm.... Dont fuckin bet them!! Chill until next football season. And if you cant do that, your gf is going to become your books gf; and your house is going to become the banks house. If u end up surviving after it all, then you can always bet the cans you find in the garbage against your new pal Rufus the stunt bum.

Prez (and Teddy but he's never in here),
Great call tonight with the UTEP/OSU Over. I dont think there is a better guaranteed expert pick out there than your College Basketball Totals. Can anyone name one? I have bet every single one with my highest wager amount in flux with my bankroll. Teddy's pick is also looking solid thus far so its looking like another 2-0 night. Congrats.

I wasn't rooting for anyone to lose, I just think this kid is an idiot. Illinois is without they're starting PG, and it was one of the most likely upsets of the tourny. Shit, even 4 of the 5 yahoo experts called for the WKU win. It is just a stupid supid play. and not to mention, probably fake as well

Prez, Thanks for your info regarding your wagering strategy. I definitely will not parlay as much as I used to, based on your input. It always seemed like a waste of money but I was blinded by the few times the tickets did cash, because man is that a high. I also wanted to add that you have added another everyday listener to your radio show based on the last couple of months. I actually posted earlier in the thread, after you guys had that horrific start, asking you to give me a reason to keep listening. Well you have. I do admit that I did start listening for the contest and the resulting free plays, which was genius in terms of marketing yourselves; but what I didn’t realize how much more I would get out of the show. The different insight each daily expert brings into the mix, the strategizing, the review of the consensus picks and which ones may actually win, the rapid fire tourney picks, etc. etc. Some good shit. Keep it up. |

Prez,
I noticed that most of your payed plays are almost always 700 per pick. Is this a strategy of yours? Do you ever bet more or less than that depending on how much you like the play? Personally I like to wager different amounts depending on how strong my lean is on a particular pick. I have tried betting the same amount on every pick over a period of time, and one bad week wiped out my winnings. Maybe I should have given it a little more time? Whats your opinion on the issue? Thanks.
-Mike
