Loyola Marymount (-4)
Looking at Loyola tonight for a few reasons: 1) Loyola won vs Rider 3 weeks ago against Rider by 17 2) Saw Rider play Albany live last week and they were pitiful against my injured-ridden squad. 3) In the same respect, Loyola beat BU (Also in the Am. East) comfortably by 13 who is a better team than Albany 4) Loyola is 10-5 away and Rider is 6-5 at home 5) Anthony Myles, while not a huge name, is injured while Loyola is injury-free What do you guys think? |

Took these two teams at home and teased them down to 2 and 3.5 respectively. Feel like they will both win, but was a little hesitant on laying that many points. Both Drake and Akron are great at home (combined 23-4) and both road teams are crap away (6-19). The only thing I JUST thought of was the possibility of sitting players for the upcoming conference tourney. Being small conferences, you have to win your tournament to get in. Thoughts? Put my mind at ease here guys. haha.

As much as I would love to say that my school has a shot, they just simply don't. Syracuse will probably run a fast paced offense which Will Brown's team has trouble keeping up with, especially when oversized. I have a feeling this is going to be a blowout so be careful over bettors. I think a better play is Syracuse team total or first half -13 or so. I have a feeling when they get up large, they will put in their bench to get them some experience for the upcoming season and Albany may find a way to get a backdoor cover like what you saw in the baylor game earlier today.. If that's the plan, expect the starters to try to light it up as much as possible in the first.
Play: Syracuse 1st Half (-13.5)

I really like the Phoenix Coyotes tonight at Colorado. Ever since they have changed their lineup, they've been lights out scoring goals. on top of that, Colorado is 1-3 at home this year and Phoenix has dominated this matchup the past few seasons. And Phoenix is + money!? Sounds like a solid play to me.

Thanks Apeterson
So day 1 was a total failure. Watching Lucie Safarova come back from a 5-0 deficit in the first set to force a tiebreak, then lose it is heartbreaking. But whatever, it is what it is. Ok. So I'm going to start this forum back up again because to be perfectly honest, it's fun. Also, I just completed a 7-in-a-row streak and I'm waiting for my check in the mail. Anyway, this time around, I'm starting with a $100 bankroll and looking for another $1k goal. I'm starting with a $10 bet then taking the winnings and putting it into the next bet until we hit 7...hopefully. Here we go...
9/15/11: Bankroll: $100 Current Streak: 0 Best Streak: 0 Record: 0-0 Pick for 9/15: 2 team parlay: WTA Bell Challenge: Barbora Zahlavova Strcova & Lucie Safarova $10 to win $12.22

I'm going to bring this forum back to the forefront because I just did it and while I should have been posting it, I was too busy.

But to be perfectly honest, I doubt I'll keep this forum up that long. I'm not seeing a great number of responses, so I don't know if anyone is really paying attention. Actually, now that I'm thinking about it, I think this forum is done. Best of luck to all. Anybody who wants to continue watching my progress can go to my pickmonitor site: As you all will see, I'm not a streak lover, I'm a progressive, bet small, win small bettor. As of right now, I'm 9-6 with a +7.37 unit with a 33.5% ROI since I started back up betting and this forum. I do sell my picks and they are crazy cheap considering the value of them compared to "pros". I usually pick one "Best Bet" of the day, like in this forum. I hope to see you guys (and gals) there. ~ Kyle (KBGuster)
