Many thanks Flynt for expediting this!!! The new placement of past results seems even easier to access now than it used to be. Worth the wait!! |

Hello Flynt, I want to echo the original posters request. I have been a member here at covers for probably 15+ years and to me this is absolutely the most essential feature covers offers. I know of no other site offering historical data to backtest any theories I may have. This is a HUGE loss to the value of covers and while I understand the developers explanation of technical limitations of the new update, an update to a website that takes away previous functionality not by design, but by technical limitation, can at best be described as an incomplete update. I would like this note forwarded to the appropriate people to make this a high priority fix in the next update.
Thank you |

i just had to pick arena first time today. I agree it is pretty frustrating as surely it is not something most of us here are less familiar with then other sports. But as long as everyone is having to do an occasional Arena mandatory pick, I see it as a fair across the board.

This sounds very intriguing.
I am mostly a $50/$100 bettor. Since the cost of one coinbase bitcoin is roughly $650 I am concerned if I can make smaller bets like this or is a minimum bet size at these sites = 1 bitcoin? If so this doesn't work for me as I am not interested in having a minimum bet be $600+. basically can you bet partial bitcoins at the sportsbooks? |

What are the main things you do there by yourself? If you're focused mostly on the gambling, going solo is the way to go...you can go where you want to when you want to and stay as long as you care to. I spend most of my days playing Blackjack, or in the sportsbook, this trip will be mostly baseball betting it looks like...go Red Sox! Both the tables and the sportsbook are pretty good places to just strike up a conversation with someone also. The one thing about a solo trip I haven't gotten used to is solo eating, I do feel uncomfortable with no one to talk to while I eat, and sometimes I feel like everyone is staring at me (stupid I know) |

Quick update, like Hizay my account at matchbook has been zeroed out, but it is not in my online credit card statement yet. I contacted live help, which wasn't all that helpful but maybe this info will be useful for some of you... You are now speaking with Katya of Accounting. Katya: Hello. Thank you for contacting us at Matchbook. Katya: How may I help you? xxx: Hello Katya. xxx: I am in the US and followed the procedures for a credit card withdrawal since my acocunt had less than 10K in it xxx: Today I see my MB account has 0 in it xxx: so I think that means the process for this withdrawal has been started? xxx: I don't see the amount in my credit card statement yet xxx: Can you give me an update? Katya: yes the process has been started, it has been sent for processing and once we receive an update you will be contacted xxx: OK Very good :). Do you have any idea how long this will take? Katya: I am not sure how long it will take for you specifically Katya: but we are trying to have all withdrawals complted within 30 days xxx: Thank you for your help. Katya: you are welcome |

I requested a withdrawal the day the notice came down...I figured the first in line are more likely to get paid. Got a reply from them to expect it within 21 business days. If they end up adding withdrawal options I will be upset, and will try to see if they haven't processed my original request if I can change it. |

Been with MB several years...definitely a big change this happened. I have < 10K in my account, got an e-mail saying i had to get my account paid to a credit card instead of bank wire. Forgive the naivete, but I currently don't owe anything on my credit card, does this mean I will just get a credit for future purchases on my credit card? Also and more importantly when I try to go to the website now I just get a blank white screen. Is this happening to anyone else? I have a rough idea how much $$ I have in my acocunt, but if I can't access my account, I don't know exactly how much is in there to withdraw |

Anyone know of a site that offers odds on a Jets/Seahawks superbowl? I know it's a crazy bet, but I'm a Seahawks fan and made a pact with a friend who's a Jets fan that IF they make the superbowl we're gonna go to Vegas. Since the odds of that have to be a pretty ridiculous longshot, it'd be great to invest a little bit on it, and if it hits have a nice start on a bankroll for the trip...if it doesn't hit, it'll only be a few bucks lost.

I feel like such an idiot now...I was in a survivor pool $25 entry about 1,000 entries so 25K at stake...down to 5 of us today. I took denver. we all know the results. it didn't occur to me until after the game I should have hedged on the KC moneyline. So now to kick myself when I'm down can anyone tell me what the KC moneyline was so I could've seen how easy it would have been to guarantee a nice payday, instead of the bup-kus, sqaudoosh, nothing I've got now. Yup I'm a glutton for punsihment.

Haven't posted much at all over the years ...but have followed along lots and like coming here to get different views and local perspectives on the games to help me make my decisions.
I don't really have a feel on this game to advise people either way on this one...just want to point out something about all this weather talk. I live in CT about 75 miles away, so not as close as some others who have posted, but I get the sense this weather forecast is not as bad as some of you are thinking it is . Yes it is much too cold, windy and raw for this area for the middle of october, and no I would not want to be sitting outside watching this game tonight let alone playing football in it...but this is nothing like the Nebraska/Mizzou or Ark St/UL monroe type of game altering pounding rain we've seen recently. My best advice, tune into the pre-game of the yankee game...the 2 stadiums aren't that far apart, see what the actual weather is for yourself , and make your own decision how much it's going to influence the play of these teams.
whatever side everyone is on, Good luck!

Not sure how accurate this is (never can be with online postings) I found it to be an interesting read covering many aspects of the DE sports betting story.
Living in CT, what I found of particular note was the 2nd sentence
"Governor Jack Martell signed legislation permitting it and The First State’s Supreme Court has determined that betting on individual games, as well as parlays, will be legal."
Really? This is the first i heard that individual games were approved! If true...good news indeed

I'm also from CT and thinking of something similar, coming out to vegas for a month...except for me it will be house hunting for my retirement home so I can move there and bet sports every day instead of just 1 month :). I'm probably doing this in January, so I would be very interested to hear about your experience/advice.

This sounds like a fantastic upgrade/new feature at Matchbook...especially since I am probably making my first withdrawal after football season, but please tell me where you see this option listed. When I go to cashier/deposits/withdrawals Idon't see this listed

Milk,
I got the same offer in the mail and I'm curious to see the responses to this thread. I'm @ matchbook right now and very happy with no real intentions to add a book, but this offer is hard to resist if legit. One thing that concerns me is on one side of the postcard it says $500 deposit minimum for the bailout, on the other side it says 1K...I just take it as a bad sign when inconsistent messages like this are so visible.
